Grip was not there, so we threw on the straps for most of the sets.

Although losing a lot of weight doesn't define you, it definitely helps mould you into a more wholesome and loving person. That person was always inside, but was squashed with an immense amount of negative self talk, and was hidden behind a wall being a lack of confidence. -
Along with losing fat from your body, you lose the negative self talk, you lose the lack of confidence, you lose the hatred, you lose not caring for yourself, you lose comparing yourself to all of your 'skinny' friends and you lose wanting to wear clothes to hide your body. -
A weightloss journey helps you realise the importance of self worth, makes you believe in yourself, allows you the ability to set challenges and smash them, you gain personal respect and learn to love yourself, you gain a different perspective on life, you have clarity in your purpose and you learn to eat to fuel your body. In turn, you are able to be a more loving and caring person to your loved ones. Putting yourself and your health first is not selfish, it's necessary. -

Been really lacking the motivation to workout this week.my body's been exhausted,took a long nap everyday this week,but I'm still going to workout still trying to get some cardio in. I never feel like not wanting to go lift weights but yesterday I definitely did not want to go nor did I want to be there.My lifts felt weak but I pushed through.not every lift session will be easy or fun and sometimes you'll just have to grind though. Next week I'll just come back stronger 💪 #humpday

Trying to get my arse back into gear! My motivation has been fairly non existent the last few weeks. Stress 😖 But when one of your best mates tells you that you're their motivation to go gym, you pull your shit together & get your arse back in the gym!!

Not the best session in the world today but not everyday is gonna be your best day so what matters most is that I went to the gym, got my body moving and accomplished something even if I wasn’t lifting as heavy as I wanted! ✨✨
