With a late start today I needed to hustle and get stuff done including a Philosophy exam! Well we got all of it done and had time for dinner too. I only know part of my exam score and I did pretty well. Well enough to enjoy a night of no homework because it seems like that's all my nights have been lately! Anyway on to the beer... Tonight it's Bend, Oregon's GoodLife Brewing "Descender" IPA! Poured from a can you see a beautiful hazy orange beer with a lasting off-white head that sticks to the sides of the glass. Very tropical on the nose and the taste follows. I love the carbonation, it's enough to make the beer really feel velvety, however it's at the high end of what I'd say is a good level of carbonation. The beer is good and I'd recommend it. It really shines while fresh and on tap though so if you see it, get it. Cheers!
After being on my feet for 11 hours I think I deserve a drink. I drove all the way out to this spot just cause they had this one on tap.

Commercial description: Horchata is a traditional, sweet, milky drink originating in Spain and Latin America that has become quite popular in Southern California, particularly with Mexican cuisine. Our homage to the traditionally non-alcoholic drink is a blonde ale brewed with a heavy dosing of rice, cinnamon and fresh vanilla beans along with lactose for a little extra creamy character. These ingredients meld together to create a taste and experience that hints at horchata, but it’s much more than that. The flavor is hard to describe, but for those who know it, you know you love it.
I am back...and I'm kicking off this Monday night after work beer thanks to @strathconabeer British IPA, came back to work after 3 days off and this was one of the samples for potential beer to seek at work🤘🏻I was mostly excited for the fact I haven't been able to make it to the brewery..If you guys haven't tried any of their beers yet and you're a fan of IPA's you'll def be a fan of theirs,an IPA that's not too hoppy for those of you...here's hoping you'll see it in the coolers @southpointliquor soon

Now on tap! "Leon is a big beer. So big, it has twice as much malt as any other beer we brew.. On top of the copious amounts of two row barley, Munich, Victory, Chocolate, Black Patent, and Caramel 80 malt in this beer each 15 barrel brew has 50 pounds of freshly in-house handmade marshmallow fluff as well as 16 pounds of bittersweet bakers chocolate, and 30 pounds of crumbled graham crackers. Leon clocks in at just over 80 IBUs and 11.6% ABV. Does it taste like a Smore’s? That’s for you to decide, but either way this is one fun beer to make, not to mention drink." @ncbcbeer #ncbc#neshaminycreek#drinklocal#pabeer#pacraftbeer#buckscountybeer#croydon#ncbcbeer#Leon#NCBCLeon
Have you heard of @streetyoga? If not, we are so excited to introduce you to this amazing organization. Street Yoga builds capacity in youth through yoga and mindfulness to overcome suffering and cope with trauma.
They do this in two ways;
1. Street Yoga offers trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness classes at organizations that serve youth who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
2. They equip professionals who work with youth with trauma-sensitive tools for integrating yoga and mindfulness into their work.
But, they need funding to make all this happen. So, in April of every year they kickoff their YogaLove fundraising campaign. We are so happy to say that we are partnering up with Street Yoga and are able to participate in this effort!
For Beer + YogaLove at Lagunitas, Heather Hested, the President of Street Yoga, will be our amazing guide for class and she will be sharing what this organization is doing in the community over a beer! A portion of the proceeds will go straight to Street Yoga and we will be taking donations the day of as well.
We hope you can join us for the fun and get involved with this great cause!
