Love this explanation of pH levels 🙌🏼💕 #Repost @thepoweroftantra
Disease & most ailments CAN NOT thrive in an alkaline environment. Another benefit of cutting out processed or high-acid food items is higher vibration. 🙏💜 .
"Drugs, medications & toxic chemicals have the effect of lowering the pH of the body, that is the reason why there are side effects to drugs and none of them effect a cure. When body pH drops below 6.4, enzymes are deactivated, digestion does not work properly, vitamins, minerals & food supplements cannot effectively assimilate. Acid decreases energy production in the cells, the ability to repair damaged cells, the ability to detoxify heavy metals, & makes the body more susceptible to fatigue and illness. Your body pH affects everything. Research has proven that disease cannot survive in an alkaline state, & that, viruses, bacteria, yeast, mold, fungus, candida & cancer cells thrive in an acidic, low oxygen, low pH environment. An acidic pH can result from an acid forming diet, emotional stress, toxic overload, & immune reactions or any process that deprives the cells of oxygen & other nutrients. The body will try to compensate for acid by utilizing alkaline mineral reserves, like sodium from the stomach, & calcium from the bones. This is a primary cause of osteoporosis & a number of other diseases. If there are not enough minerals in the diet to compensate, acid build-up in the cells will occur, resulting in symptoms like pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS, & lupus. Cancer is not compatible in a healthy pH environment full of oxygen. For example, cancer of the heart doesn't exist. This is because blood flowing from the lungs into the heart are at the highest pH & oxygen levels within the entire body. As the blood travels through the lungs, acidic toxins are thrown out of the system leaving it rich with oxygen & a high blood pH. In the absence of oxygen, glucose undergoes fermentation to lactic acid. This causes the pH of the cell to drop even lower. Urine & saliva pH of terminal cancer patients almost always runs between 4.0 and 5.5. When the cancer goes into metastases the pH drops even lower." ~Keiichi Morishi
Making a gallon of orange water is the perfect way to kick start my effort to drink more water and less pop. (Can you tell I'm from the Midwest?) It also has the added benefit of making my kitchen smell lovely. Easy peasy orange squeezy! 🍊
Water is the best way to flush out those toxins in the body. BUT I'm feeling adventurous and starting my 4 day Thrive Cleanse today for a little reset. No one is allowed to tempt me with sweets, fatty foods and booze...lol
In an initiative to lose 10 pounds before Dec. 1st I am going to make some changes in my daily life. And although my favorite thing to drink is bourbon I am striving to change that. And so I will now be drinking more water. I typically drink 6 glasses a day but since I am such a visual learner this is a lovely reminder. #drinkmorewater#loose10poundsfordecember1st
💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦 Already downed one bottle and back for a refill! I will drink more water if it's cold so I keep a water dispenser in my refrigerator so I can just fill it up when I'm ready and it's nice and cold! This helps my kids get more water in too! ♦️caution- when filling the water dispenser do not, I repeat, do not walk away or turn your back, there is a chance you will forget it's filling and end up with a waterfall in your kitchen! Um, I've heard that anyway, um, yeah, heard it could happen, lol. 😏 💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦💦
Fluid, fluid, fluid!!!! Your body looses around 2.5 litres of fluid a day - what are you replacing it with?!? Each @radlett_holistic_massage client is provided with a fruit enriched water to ensure they are hydrated and to support the toxins being flushed away 💧#radlettholisticmassage#drinkmorewater#clientcare#hydrateyourself
How chuffed was I yesterday! I managed to complete all 3 of my daily goals. Going for a run before work albeit a short one really set the mood for the day, which was fabulous. I need to try and do this more often when the OH is home. I have 3 days including today to exercise twice more then can say I fully achieved my goal. Here's for another good day! The running will have to wait until I'm home tonight unfortunately. Have a great day all 😎
It's getting to that time .....for most of us the end of the working week is the time we are looking forward to a drink after work, especially on a Friday night. 🍾😁🍾😁🍾😁
We like to unwind and relax before the weekend and it's a great time to catch up with friends.
Just a few things to keep in mind ......if you are trying to lose weight and are finding the process difficult- you may need to rethink your relationship with alcohol.
The liver is the source of fat metabolism in your body. When alcohol enters your blood stream the liver stops processing the fat and turns to the now present alcohol (toxin). The processing of toxins takes a priority and the fat metabolism slows down or stops completely.
Don't want to be a party pooper however, the consumption of alcohol will hamper your efforts to lose weight. Even one drink can mean that you don't lose weight that week and all you have managed to achieve is frustration and disappointment.
For some people altering their approach to alcohol is more difficult than food.
If you are serious about losing weight and living a healthier life you have to be serious about modifying your behaviour. This means changing your approach to the consumption of alcohol.
Just a thought!!!! Have a great weekend !!!!!!
🙌🏻 .... so often we over complicate things and forget just to nail the basics whether it be training, nutrition or mindset. We overthink everything from HIIT vs LISS to Carbs vs Fat to what type of Meditation .... but we forget simply being active, or eating clean healthy food, or giving ourselves some 'me' time is all we really need to do. ------------------------------------------------

So I started this past Monday (once again) Cutting out soda & adding in plenty of water. This time around I have my husbands support so I feel this is just the beginning for us!! The past two days my water intake hasnt been the greatest. Ive been drinking more coffee/ cappuccinos to get my caffeine. My goal for tomorrow is to drink my 60oz in water that I am requiring for myself. I think for my weight Im technically suppose to drink more but Im taking small steps. #drinkmorewater#h2o#goals#weightlossjourney#needcaffeine#water
