I haven’t eaten since yesterday, over 24 hours ago... I used to fast regularly, with at least one 7 day fast and multiple 24-72hr fasts throughout the year, but haven’t done any since becoming a Dad. They’ve done wonders for my health in the past, and while I’m still working with doctors in hopes of finding more answers to my health problems, this seems like the most appropriate path at the moment. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll go a full three days (72 hrs) yet or not... but it will be interesting teaching my normal load of classes over the next few days (not to mention the rest of life’s regular duties). I haven’t done this big of a prep in a while, but it’s for good reason! My husband bought me a new gas stove and oven range and we are having it installed this week!!! I’ll be without a stove for a few days. We’ve got frittatas for breakfast, Mexican lasagna, burgers and CK Veggie Soup for all other meals. This came together pretty quickly, about 1.5 hour. Thinking about this week’s goals. For the most part, I find the meal prep and eating, based on the plan, works well for me. I squeeze in the odd treat and I don’t give up wine but otherwise, I’m doing ok. One thing I continue to need to do more of... drink more water!
