🔹I've written about this multiple times because it comes up with my patients DAILY. ⚖️ The scale is a GREAT tool. It helps you stay aware of your body weight, but has some major limitations. .
🔹These include the daily fluctuations (ups and downs) along with not being able to tell WHERE you're losing the weight
🔹Scale weight is a big motivator, which is why you see ads I have used for marketing. It's a double edged sword though because some become obsessed and live and die by it
🔹Understand the limitations. Don't rely on it solely. Use other methods to track your weight. Don't put the scale on a pedestal. Understand it as a tool. .

If you are looking for your float in handstand, simply kicking for the wall won't help you. 1. Kick to the wall but make sure you activate everything. Press through your heels, push away from the ground spreading your shoulder blades and wrapping your triceps inwards. Lock your core as if you are tensing before someone punches you in the stomach- trying to connect the top of your hips with the bottom of your ribs. 2. Press one leg away from the wall to find the a straight line. Bend the other leg at the knee keeping the toe on the wall. Keep pushing away from the floor with an active core. You should start to find your float here. 3. When you feel ready, lift your toe away from the wall slowly.
