It strengthens the spine while improving both balance and poise. It tones the leg muscles while making the ligaments and tendons of the feet stronger. The knees become stronger, and the hip joints are loosened. The eyes, inner ears, and shoulders are also strengthened in this pose.

💙 Good morning from Barbados💙 Whilst on holiday I will be using a gym I've never been in before 🙂 Now sometimes this is intimidating...walking into a gym where guys are lifting weights and everyone seems to know what they are doing.
My top tips for beginners/people starting a new gym/or just scared of that weight section:
◽Plan! I plan before I go into the gym what muscles I will be training and what type of exercises/machines I will be using. I try to do 4 or 5 exercises for a muscle group. This then, not only gives you more confidence but also reduces time waisting (and prevents the 20 mins run on tred mill). ◽Research the technique! If you are not sure what to do, there are so many YouTube videos/Instagrams you can watch and screen shot. This will not only prevent injury but will help you achieve your goal and help you target the right muscles (Not everyone in the gym knows what they are doing...most people will be thinking exactly the same thing as you).
◽Confidence! So what if you are trying something new or get things wrong or drop weights (like me). Most people are too focused on what they are doing to even be watching anyone else...and if they are judging then they clearly are in the gym for the wrong reasons. So go over to that weight section with a smile and a strut!
◽Push yourself! Don't just do the same old routine and hardly break a sweat...If you have watched my insta stories I sweat...a lot (you are there to better yourself, not to look good). I absolutely love it when I ache the next day and see improvements. If you are wanting to try a heavier weight ask someone to spot you (people are very unlikely to say no) and it might even be that hot guy you've got your eye on 😉
Go smash it guys 💕💪🏼 any questions I'm here xx

#TipTuesday - Foam rolling after your workout can help bring down some of that muscle soreness and pain and can also improve your athletic performance and flexibility. Make foam rolling a part of your daily routine and feel those knots get undone! 💪🏽
"Ever since I tore my ACL and picked up surfing my hips have been pretty wrecked. I get an intense pinching around the Sciatic Nerve and after a surf sesh, I have trouble walking. The only thing that has alleviated that for me has been rolling out before and after with the @tp_therapy massage balls. It's been huge for my hip." - Great #TipTuesday advice from Brittany @bp.surfs Parker! 💪🏽
Serve the #brunch crowd a #lowcarb French toast loaf (yes, an entire loaf of French toast!). Best for Phase 3, serves 10 at 14g net carbs per slice.
1 1/2 tsps whole grain soy flour
3/4 cup whole grain wheat flour
1 1/4 cups Sugar substitute
1 1/2 tbsps cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
6 large eggs
1) Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x4 loaf pan; set aside.
2) In a large bowl, whisk soy flour, whole wheat flour, sugar substitute, cinnamon, salt and baking soda.
3) In another bowl, combine buttermilk, yolks and vanilla. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and using an electric mixer on low speed, beat until smooth.
4) In another bowl, beat whites and cream of tartar with an electric mixer on high speed until medium peaks form, about 4 minutes. Using a rubber spatula, fold whites into batter in three additions. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth top.
5) Bake 45-50 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes.

Some of us think 💭 of extraordinary workouts and activities when the word #activelifestyles is mentioned. There are tons of different kinds out there! #Yoga , #powerwalk and even some home exercises like squats using a chair and abdominal workouts by just laying on the floor at your lovely house 🏡 ~ Living an active life is possible for everyone and that is it's #Beauty 💚🌱 Think of creative new ways of being #Active and you shall find.
Joking aside, limited range of motion can lead to pain, injury and poor overall performance. Most of us have got something that needs to be worked on so stop putting it off because it's hard!
On my list, some yoga! Any recommendations in DXB? 😊
