🌸Feeling Good Friday🌸  So the picture on the left was taking just before the summer. I was doing shift work in a bar, eating probably two meals a day, then picking at junk and trying to get training in. I was constantly exhausted and was run down plus I wasn’t getting much sleep at all!!☹️. Then the picture on the right which was taking today.. the difference!! Now don’t get me wrong I wasn’t dieting to an extent. I was watching what I was eating but still not depriving myself of a slice of cake or the odd take away. I’m not really strict with myself when it comes to eating cause I’ve a serious sweet tooth 🍭 Just really focused on my training! Yesterday I was training with him, whom I fondly call "the beast" 😂. It made me think about how important it is to find a sensible, wise and passionate professional when you decide to make a move from a sedentary to an active lifestyle and how lucky I've been in this journey for having met @falchettofitness . Turning back to a couple of years ago, specifically from 2012 to 2016, I could recall the yo-yo effect I was used to experience every other semester, in Brazil and here in Ireland. The end of that did not happen overnight and the starting point was changing my eating habits, a decision that inspired me to create my final Master's project called "Pep Me Up", which was about sharing through an interactive website healthy dishes I was cooking myself over the period of 3 months towards a holistic healthy lifestyle and improved wellbeing. At the same time, in my local gym, I took a step into physical exercises and since then I've had a huge support from this amazing trainer! Just feel the need to say again: thank you, fera, for inspiring me!

Ontem, enquanto treinava com ele, a quem chamo carinhosamente de "o fera", pensava no quão importante é buscar um profissional sensato, sábio e apaixonado pelo que faz, quando você decide sair do sedentarismo. Pensava tb no quão sortuda fui ao encontrar o Luiz. De volta ao passado, especificamente de 2012 a 2016, pude relembrar o efeito sanfona do qual era sempre vítima um semestre sim, outro não, no Brazil e na Irlanda. O basta não aconteceu da noite para o dia. Mas o ponto de partida foi a mudança dos meus hábitos alimentares, o que me levou a criar o meu projeto final do mestrado que fiz aqui, cujo nome era "Pep Me Up", um site focado em compartilhar receitas de pratos saudáveis que eu mesma cozinhava, durante o período de 3 meses. Tudo em prol de adquirir um estilo de vida mais saudável, do ponto de vista holístico, e  aprimorar o meu bem estar. Ao mesmo tempo, na academia mais próxima, eu dei o primeiro passo na prática de atividades físicas e, desde então, tenho recebido grande suporte desse incrível treinador! Obrigada, fera!

So here it is again.. (only a sneak peak because it’s like 5 minutes long) second time doing this squat challenge🙄 
Squatting 32.5 kg for 84reps! 🏋🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️ Raging I lost count easily could of got to 100 gonna do it again Friday and aim for them triple digits 💪🏼 Please don’t judge my ugly squat faces and the top makes me look like I’ve 40 belly’s .. But because I’ve only little baby legs I done half my body weight 😂 
And Doc.. well he was on a 3 week holiday so he done 2/3 of his body weight which was 60kg 🤔😂 Doc @ 60kg for 23 reps 
And me @ 32kg for 30 reps (this was my second round because Nicola can’t use technology correctly and made an arse of the first video) 🙄🙄😂 So in my defense my legs were a little tired 😂

Have you been screened for potential injury risks ? Most good coaches can do this by just watching clients warm up and then they will modify to suit

If you're eating the same nutrition plan as your coach, more than likely your going to fail, why ? Because its not individualised to suit your needs or lifestyle, there is no one size fits all approach

3- Is it about him/her or you?

If your trainer is constantly preaching how many raw eggs he/she eats & what weight they can lift in the gym there probably not too concerned about your progress, most personal trainers get into training because they enjoy going the gym, when in reality coaching people is a different passion
