As the #motivational sign in @progressgym says “Choice, not chance, determines your destiny” ✨📝 The sitting bileratal dumbbell shoulder press was one of the first exercises I quickly came to love when I fell in weightlifting 🏋🏼♀️💗 but more so recently I have started executing the standing variation 🤙 the main benefit of this variation is that you have to use your legs (@lftlondon leggings 🍑) core (@sanctumapparel_ vest - use code SE10 for discount 😏) and hips to stabilize the movement and especially with still being in a recovery period 👎🏼😩 my core is something that currently needs a little bit more attention 👀🙌 What’s your favourite variation? ✍️
✨ Weight loading progressions ✨
Are you confident you can complete all of these different variations?
Varying the load position challenges the body in different ways. If your finding the exercise too hard or easy don’t automatically think of changing the weight.
Try working in different positions and change the intensity that way.
I have used a split squat to show the different variations, but the principle of weight load positioning stays the same regardless of the exercise.
Come up with your own variations to challenge the exercises difficulty 💪
