Currently reading (and loving) A Line in the Dark, by @malindalo. It's a dark, LGBT-themed YA thriller, and it's all about obsession. 👭 💀

If you loved Cristina Moracho's A Good Idea, you're probably going to get sucked into A Line in the Dark just like I did. 🖤🖤

Oh my goddddd! Why did I wait so long to read Unsub by @meggardiner1 To be honest, I’m kind of happy I did since book two will be out soon. This book literally gave me anxiety while reading. This is 5 star thriller!! My review is up on Goodreads. If you have been thinking about reading this one, DO IT! So good.
•
I’d like to add, It takes a lot in a book for me to want to continue a series, and this right here has me SOLD for book 2.

I started this on New Year’s Day, but I’m having a really hard time getting into it. It feels like I jumped into a series and missed a lot of information.

Premise: TOO SOON TO SEE

Polished. Professional. Perfect. Dead. Respected scientist Dr Eleanor Costello is found hanging in her immaculate home: the scene the very picture of a suicide.

TOO LATE TO HIDE

DCS Frankie Sheehan is handed the case, and almost immediately spots foul play. Sheehan, a trained profiler, is seeking a murderer with a talent for death.

TOO CLOSE TO BREATHE

As Frankie strives to paint a picture of the killer, and their victim, she starts to sense they are part of a larger, darker canvas, on which the lines between the two blur.

The Way I Am by Eminem
Published October 21st, 2008 by Dutton
Read from August 20th, 2016 to August 26th, 2016
Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Opinion/Review: In this colorful biography, Marshall Mathers (aka Eminem) discusses the highs and lows of his rapping career, his harsh upbringing, his daughter Hallie, and the phone call from Dr. Dre that changed everything. In pop culture today, Eminem still remains one of the most inspirational music figures of the past decade. I’ll be honest, I havn’t listened to a ton of Marshall Mathers, but I have tons of respect for the dude. The book was okay, haha, I’m all about itty bitty details, I feel that was one thing it lacked. But what was also really cool was that the book came with a little mini movie from life on tour, not to mention Eminem also took you on his songwriting process. From used napkins to crumpled sheets of paper, all his lyrics and emotions become scattered and sprawled on the page like a giant jigsaw puzzle waiting to be assembled. Can’t wait to listen to his new album! Photo creds goes to TRShady.com(FULL URL—http://forum.trshady.com/viewtopic.php?t=154463)

Happy 2018 friends!! 🎉
.
.
I'm working on my TBR for January and these are the ones I'm trying to make a priority. I'm reading The Woman in the Window right now. Into the Black Nowhere will be the next book I pick up, because I can't wait any longer! I try to read along with @suspensethrill and @cluesandreviews goodreads group, but I'm a little behind and still need to read One of Us Is Lying for December and plan to read The Ghost Writer for January. I also wanted to read Eeny Meeny and The Chalk Man last month. Of course I'm reading Strangers for @blackheartreads and The Brutal Telling for the Penny Pushers. For once I'm ahead with my other book clubs and have already read the January picks for both @criminallygoodbookclub and @saltwaterreads. I still need to get a copy of The Ice Beneath Her for @crimebythebook's Facebook book club. There will be others that I try to squeeze in as well as plenty of audiobooks, but these are the ones that I plan to focus on.

The last read of 2017 was a page-turner! I absolutely loved it, and it quickly became one of my favourite thrillers. It is both riveting and heart-pounding, taking you down a number of different, fast-paced directions. 5 big bold stars! Side note, it’s our last day in Whistler and we are off to @scandinavewhis. •
Thank you @duttonbooks #prhpartner. Release date: February 2018. Exhilarating, breathtaking, and atmospheric. This one will be a #1 bestseller. Can’t wait to hear what you think! •
Book Details: In southern Texas, on Saturday nights, women are disappearing. One vanishes from a movie theater. Another is ripped from her car at a stoplight. Another vanishes from her home while checking on her baby. Rookie FBI agent Caitlin Hendrix, newly assigned to the FBI's elite Behavioral Analysis Unit, fears that a serial killer is roaming the dark roads outside Austin.

Caitlin and the FBI's serial crime unit discover the first victim's body in the woods. She's laid out in a bloodstained, white baby-doll nightgown. A second victim in a white nightie lies deeper in the forest's darkness. Both bodies are surrounded by Polaroid photos, stuck in the earth like headstones. Each photo pictures a woman in a white negligee, wrists slashed, suicide-style--posed like Snow White awaiting her prince's kiss.
To track the UNSUB, Caitlin must get inside his mind. How is he selecting these women? Working with a legendary FBI profiler, Caitlin searches for a homology--that elusive point where character and action come together. She profiles a confident, meticulous killer who convinces his victims to lower their guard until he can overpower and take them in plain sight. He then reduces them to objects in a twisted fantasy--dolls for him to possess, control, and ultimately destroy. Caitlin's profile leads the FBI to focus on one man: a charismatic, successful professional who easily gains people's trust. But with only circumstantial evidence linking him to the murders, the police allow him to escape. As Saturday night approaches, Caitlin and the FBI enter a desperate game of cat and mouse, racing to capture the cunning predator before he claims more victims.

If you HAD to choose one, and ONLY ONE, favorite read of 2017, what would it be?
.
.
Mine was hands down Unsub by Meg Gardnier. When the lovely people at Dutton agreed to send me an ARC of the sequel, Into the Black Nowhere, I might have actually squealed with excitement!
.
.
I have a couple more reads I am trying to squeeze in before the year is over, but this beauty is going to be one of the first that I pick up in 2018. Into the Black Nowhere is easily one of my most highly anticipated releases of 2018 and I am beyond thrilled to have my hands on a copy early! 😍 Thanks again @duttonbooks!
.
.
Also, can we talk about how excited I am that it's being made into a series?!

These two actually are. #closerthanyouknow by #bradparks. Thanks @duttonbooks. This pile has been one of the best #bookmail packages I’ve ever received. #prhpartner I recently finished #saynothing and I loved it. Can’t wait to see what this one has in store. Premise: Disaster, Melanie Barrick was once told, is always closer than you know.

It was a lesson she learned the hard way growing up in the constant upheaval of foster care. But now that she's survived into adulthood - with a loving husband, a steady job, and a beautiful baby boy - she thought that turmoil was behind her.

Until the evening she goes to pick up her son from childcare, only to discover he's been removed by Social Services. And no one will say why.

A terrifying scenario for any parent, it's doubly so for Melanie, all too aware of the unintended horrors of 'the system'. When she arrives home, her nightmare gets worse - it has been raided by Sheriff's deputies, who have found enough cocaine to send her to prison for years. If Melanie can't prove her innocence, she'll lose her son forever. Her case is assigned to Amy Kaye, a no-nonsense assistant Commonwealth's attorney. Amy's boss wants to make an example out of Melanie, who the local media quickly christens 'Coke Mom'. But Amy's attention continues to be diverted by a cold case no one wants her to pursue: a serial rapist who has avoided detection by wearing a mask and whispering his commands. Over the years, he has victimized dozens of women in the area - including Melanie. Now it's this mystery man who could be the key to her salvation. or her ultimate undoing.

~Enchantress of Numbers~ Despite her many names and titles, the world famously knows her as Ada Lovelace and in recent years she’s been recognized as the author of the first computer program. Ada was the product of a marriage of math & poetry. Her father was the “mad, bad, and dangerous to know” Lord Byron and her mother was Annabella Millbanke, a religious and moral mathematician.
Aside from the prologue which details her parent’s courtship and disastrous
marriage, this historical fiction is written as a memoir narrated in Ada’s voice. When Ada is just 7 weeks old, her parents separate. Lady Byron is so traumatized by her marriage and the madness she perceived in Lord Byron, that she fears it being inherited by Ada. A series of governesses and tutors parade through Ada’s life
striving to meet her mother’s demands for a strict upbringing and higher education. Friends, fairy tales and use of imagination are forbidden. Ada has a thirst for knowledge and flair for mathematics which becomes her salvation throughout her lonely childhood. Lady Byron has a circle of unmarried female friends who live with them and together they constantly scrutinize and test Ada to observe any sign of madness. Ada despises these friends of her mother and refers to them as “the furies.” Lady Byron often without warning leaves Ada in their care and travels for extended periods of time, leaving Ada feeling punished and abandoned. As controlled and sad as Ada’s childhood is, she learns to cope and fight back in small ways.
The notoriety and social standing of Ada’s parents place her in a position to meet and befriend some very interesting and prominent people of her time. Most notably, Charles Babbage, the inventor of the Difference Engine and designer of the Analytical Engine, who influences her continuing study of mathematics. Ada also counted Charles Dickens as a good friend. And when her mother’s cousin,
Lord Melbourne, uses his influence to grant Ada’s husband a peerage, Ada then has access to Queen Victoria’s court. The author clearly put alot of heart & research into bringing Ada to life. Thank you to @duttonbooks & @penguinrandomhouse for this ARC to review! #prhpartner

So. So. Good. I am not usually one for #legalthrillers but this one was phenomenal. Domestic thriller meets the court room. Amazing set of characters, and the plot had me guessing till the last few pages. I can totally see this on the big screen. Thank you so much @duttonbooks #prhpartner. I can’t wait to start his next one #closerthanyouknow.

Looking for Alaska came out when I was 13. I read the entire book in one sitting the evening I received it. I had been an avid reader my entire life, but this novel changed everything for me. It gave me a home, companionship, and hope. Even 12 years later my heart swells and breaks while reading this story. That’s why I chose it for day 6 of the #DeckTheShelves challenge, nothing will ever warm our hearts more than be first book that changed our lives. Let me know in the comments, the book that warms your heart most! 🌼

I won this book in an Instagram contest. Thank you @k.e.radke for having this GIVEAWAY! All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Turtles All The Way Down by John Green. 16 year old Aza  battles demons inside herself that no one else could possibly see or understand, not her best friend, her mom, her boyfriend, no one. And her mother could someone please help that woman get a clue.......it isn't until a huge fight, an accident and the world turns upside down that Aza has a major meltdown that anyone realizes just how much pressure they applied to her being well causes more damage. A spiral that can only allow one way direction opens to new spirals. Like the turtles described at the seminar in this book. An amazing read. Review also posted on Library Thing, Goodreads/StacieBoren, and my blog at readsbystacie.com

"I was beginning to learn that your life is a story told about you, not one that you tell."
- John Green, Turtles All the Way Down
•••
I've been so busy lately that I totally forgot to do a review of Turtles All the Way Down. Better late than never I guess!
Overall, I really enjoyed @johngreenwritesbooks new novel. I know there was a lot of anticipation for this book given the success of The Fault in Our Stars and I think Turtles lives up to the hype. In short, it's a story about relationships and mental illness and how mental illness affects the relationships we have with ourselves and the people around us. I don't want to give out too many spoilers so I'll just say this: The first person perspective and the way that Green presents Aza's inner dialogue really helped me to put myself in Aza's shoes as she struggles with her anxiety disorder. I think Green also does a really fantastic job of not trivializing, tokenizing, or minimizing Aza's experience with mental illness. All in all, I definitely recommend reading this book. It's definitely a 4/5 star read for me!
Have you read Green's new book yet? I'd love to know what you think! 📖☕️🐢

In his long-awaited return, John Green, the acclaimed, award-winning author of  Looking for Alaska and The Fault in Our Stars, shares Aza’s story with shattering, unflinching clarity in this brilliant novel of love, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendship.

tonight's plan: prep for tomorrow and read & chill. 🤣 John Green is one of my favorite authors, and one of the few authors whom I have read all the books. "The Fault in Our Stars" being my absolute book & movie. Green, undoubtedly had a high expectation to meet on his new book, "Turtles All the Way Down." I'm about one-third into the book, and it hasn't captured me yet. Just feels bit off balance. I don't even know exactly what I mean, but we shall see. What's your favorite John Green book? Have a great ore-thanksgiving evening! 🤓✌️📖

So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Russell Pickett’s son, Davis.

Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts. via @duttonbooks

Book review time!
Book: The Address
Author: Fiona Davis
I wasn't really sure what this book was about but I like historical fiction so I decided to try it. Then @wherethereadergrows said she was reading, so we decided to buddy read it. I'm so glad we did!
...
The Address follows two narratives about The Dakota, one in the present, and one when it was first opened. I love books that do that well and Davis nails it. Her rhythm is great, it's not too jumpy but has mini cliffhangers of the best kind.
...
The ending was really well-done. Even when most of it has been pieced together, Davis drops a couple more surprises on you.
...
I also love Davis' voice, she builds drama and a sense of "I need to know what's happening!" without being overly dramatic (a pet peeve of mine).
...
And she drops in a reference to real-life journalist Nellie Bly, who went undercover in an asylum to reveal the conditions!
I recommend this and will be checking out The Dollhouse myself.

Just finished @naturallystephperkins There’s Someone Inside Your House! Not only was this book creepy and gory in the best way possible, but it also still had Stephanie’s classic charm. I had no idea who the killer was until it was revealed or their motives! If you’re a horror fan that likes rom-coms too, I highly recommend this book! 4.3/5 ⭐️

Some of you saw my IG story about finishing GOOD ME BAD ME yesterday and sent messages. I loved getting to chat about this book with you, but I have a feeling there are a lot more who have read and missed it so let’s chat now shall we —> First of all... HOLY CRAP! I loved this book. I found it extremely hard to put down and every time I turned the page I got even more creeped out. It’s so twisted and wrong and dark and yet I wanted more. I found myself totally rooting for Annie and completely feeling for her through her struggles. The rest of the characters (besides a hatred for Phoebe) weren’t my favorite, but they weren’t terrible either. Just bland next to all the madness that kept me guessing. And for those who asked about the writing style, at first I wasn’t a fan but as the story developed I ended up loving it and felt that it added another element and depth to the story. I wouldn’t have changed it at all. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What did you think?
.
Oh and also, I’m sharing a few other favs that deal with crazy serial killers who I just couldn’t get enough of. I mean Joe 😍 I definitely need more Joe. ASAP!

And.......it’s done.
And I have once again taken to tears and vehement affirmations of every single emotion, every iota of feeling expressed in #JohnGreen ‘s new #masterpiece #TurtlesAllTheWayDown

He made me miss my dad in a way that was almost like an inexplicable physical ache. He floored me with his insane understanding of everything that breaks us and then tapes us back, in little wholes of incompleteness.

To quote directly from the book - “It’s easy enough to say what it was like but impossible to say what it was.
You are somebody’s something and you are also your you.” And then page 245 comes along and it’s the simplest yet most funnily heartbreaking reveal of why it’s turtles all the way down. "The dead, dear friends, had come knocking." _____________________
My first finished read for #contemporaryathon is #turtlesallthewaydown by #johngreen and, I know this will be the unpopular opinion, but I didn't really love it. .

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ .

I have enjoyed John Green's books in the past, and with the hype this was getting, I was sure I would fall in love with this story. But I just........didn't. In fact, the only reason my rating is as high as three stars, is because I feel the story really came together in the last quarter of the book and made the rest worth it. .

But sadly, this story fell a bit flat for me. I thought the premise was cute, but ultimately insubstantial and unmemorable. Though I understand much of Aza's perspective was meant to be a look into mental illness, and I think Green was able to capture the experience well, with her spiraling thoughts and obsessive compulsions, I had a hard time connecting to or following her inner monologues which were filled with meta and existential ramblings. .

Furthermore, the ultra-philosophical and metaphorical musings between herself and Davis didnt feel entirely realistic and though the topics were mature the entire narrative just felt very young. I had a hard time remembering that Ada was in the neighborhood of 16. .

Truthfully, Daisy was the character that saved this book for me. I was constantly laughing at what she said and felt she was the most relatable character .

Also, the plot as it pertained to the missing billionaire was rather bizarre and didn't seem to fit what Green was trying to accomplish. It ultimately didn't even really lead anywhere, either. This story definitely could have been told without that subplot. .

I feel this could have been a very poignant and heartwarming story, much like #EveryLastWord by Tamara Ireland Stone but it didn't pack the same punch and I am disappointed. .

Overall, I will say that I appreciate John Green a great deal. I find him insanenly clever and witty and always find some inspirational and intelligent words within his stories. He has a great way of creating sharp dialogue and quick reads. This one just didn't really do it for me.

Turtles All the Way Down by John Green, best paired with a Blazin’ Texan Burger and a side of onion rings from Applebee’s. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Cheers, Tara
🐢
In his first novel since the phenomenal success of Fault in Our Stars in 2012— a 16-year-old girl named Aza Holmes struggles with crippling anxiety.
🐢
Fans of John Green will understand that this is a quieter novel than the epic tragedy of Fault in Our Stars, although the two books offer the same charming winks to literature, melancholy teenage romance and glorious exploration of astronomy and philosophy. 🐢
🐢
Uber fans of John Green will know that the book’s main character and author are inextricably intertwined. John Green has talked openly about his own battle with obsessive-compulsive disorder. 🐢
🐢
The mystery of a missing billionaire introduces us to Davis Pickett, the billionaire’s son, and Aza experiences first love in all its saccharine glory. 🐢
🐢
But the real star of the novel is the female friendship between Aza and Daisy Ramirez. Reminiscent of Meredith Grey and Cristina Yang, Aza and Daisy are each other’s person. “What I want to say to you, Holmesy, is that yes, you are exhausting, and yes, being your friend is work. But you are also the most fascinating person I have ever known, and you are not like mustard. You are like pizza, which is the highest compliment I can pay a person.” 🐢
🐢
I loved the flawed friendship, the comfort the bond between two strong female characters brings to each of them, and I especially loved that a platonic friendship eclipsed romance as the soul of a YA novel.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Our story begins on a frosty night... Laylee can barely remember the happier times before her beloved mother died. Before her father, driven by grief, lost his wits (and his way) and she was left as the sole remaining mordeshoor in the village of Whichwood, destined to spend her days scrubbing the skins and souls of the dead in preparation for the afterlife. It’s become easy to forget and easier still to ignore not only her ever increasing loneliness, but the way her overworked hands are stiffening and turning silver, just like her hair. - -
But soon, a pair of familiar strangers appear, and Laylee’s world is turned upside down as she discovers color, magic, and the healing power of friendship. -
Lush and enchanting, critically acclaimed author Tahereh Mafi weaves together an all new magical adventure in this dark, Persian fantasy, a companion to the New York Times bestselling, Furthermore. -

Happy Friday!!!! I have heard nothing but great things about Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. I'm 100 pages in and loving it!!! #bookstagram #ilovebooks📚 #readingday #happyweekend #itsfall #bookobessed #morebooksplease📚 #turtlesallthewaydown #johngreenwritesbooks #duttonbooks
It’s Friday!!! I started this book yesterday and even though I’m only halfway through, guys, I am in love with this book!!! 🐢🖤🐢 I have flagged so many quotes and I want to highlight nearly every page!!! I know! This book makes me want to highlight and underline and just shout YES to so many beautiful lines 🙌🏻📚🙌🏻 Daisy and her Star Wars fanfic makes me laugh out loud nearly every time she talks 😂 Aza is so real, and her descriptions of anxiety are so relatable 🖤 It’s spectacular. Seriously. I don’t want it to end. 😭 @johngreenwritesbooks has once again created a set of characters that will find their way deep into your heart. 🖤🐢🖤 it’s so strange to me that there are people out there who view YA fiction as somehow inappropriate for adults. Books like this one are about teenagers, yes, but the beauty and the truths written within its pages aren’t less true for adults. “True terror isn’t being scared; it’s not having a choice in the matter.” That single sentence should dispel the notion that #yafiction doesn’t have depth and substance. When people claim things like that, it feels like literary snobbery to me. It’s okay if YA isn’t your thing. I don’t fault you for not liking a genre, or a writing style. But don’t insult other readers by stating that their choices or enjoyment are less than because it isn’t for you. It’s a big literary world out there, and there’s plenty of room for all the readers in it 🖤📚🖤 what’s your favorite YA book???

Remember that book Unsub that I read a while ago and really enjoyed? Apparently there is a sequel called Into the Black Nowhere, and I am so happy. I’ve mentioned the first book several times on this account and on my YouTube channel but basically if you’re looking for a great thriller, pick up Unsub by Meg Gardiner. I know Halloween is over, but I couldn’t think of another way to honor these creepy as hell books. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had very high expectations for John Green's «Turtles all the way down». So high I was sure I was going to be let down. But I wasn't at all! In fact I think this is one of Green's strongest books. It is an important book about mental health.

JOHN GREEN HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS, I mean I knew this but I had this whole phase in middle school where Star Wars was everything. But in reading Turtles All The Way Down I am SO IMPRESSED by the SW and fanfic knowledge, this is super detailed and totally legit stuff they're saying here guys. ⚔️
In my life as a journalist, I have to visit crime scenes—and vandalised places like this one—way too often. So, why not “use” them as props? I hate this, these people should be forced to repay everything they break, but it sadly doesn’t happen enough times.

Harlen Coben has written another great read. Spc Ops pilot Maya's husband has been murdered and she is the only witness. As they investigate her husband's murder it turns out he was shot with the same gun that her sister was murdered with. Are these 2 murders tied together as her husband and sister had been working together. B. This is a definitely a "all is not as it seems read" with a surprise ending. Great read. ⚔️
I liked this book from its title, and the first lines suggested it had all the premises to be good reading material. It proved to be an enjoyable thriller, letting the reader get acquainted with its characters as it was proceeding, not all cards on the table from the start. ⚔️
The rhythm is consistent with the genre, quick enough for both the reader and the protagonist not to indulge in unnecessary and fake prolonged moments of rest. The way Coben spun the plot as a real master, surprising with the right amount of twists and turns hat keep you hook until the very end. You can like Maya or not, but what grips you the most are the bribes, deceit, secrets and suspense you find along the way.
This is a definitely a "all is not as it seems read" with a surprise ending.

John Green is in town, and we’ll be celebrating his (outstanding, spiraling, heart-gripping) treasure of a book, Turtles All The Way Down, with @bookpassage and @sf_curran. Which means I finally get to see my supercrush @hankgreen in person. There was so much anticipation for this book, and it is quickly becoming one of our beloved reads of 2017. Dewey agrees, clearly.

Happy Halloween booklovers! Frankly, I'm not too excited about today because college apps are literally due tomorrow and I'm pulling my hair out. But I do hope you enjoy the scariest evening of the year. Fill it with candy and homemade costumes (of store bought!). Also my friends, spend it reading the scariest book you'll ever read. Get outside your comfort zone! 👻

If you're interested in a scary book to read, check out my blog (link in bio) for a review of A Line in the Dark by Malinda Lo, an LGBT+ psychological thriller with Asian rep. A huge thanks to @penguinteen for sending over a copy and allowing me to review the book! 😍

17.10.23 | Wildflower by Drew Barrymore. I'm actually 2/3 into the audiobook read by Drew herself and it is A-MA-ZING. Drew (@drewbarrymore), you are such an incredible story teller. You can write such a book every year and I'd buy them all. Bought second hand from Amazon Marketplace.
And now it's story time for my second bad experience with Amazon Marketplace. I ordered this book on September 7th and about 2 weeks later... I received Philèbe by Platon instead. WTF!? I opened a dispute on Amazon and was immediately answered with the same type of answer as last time, "we're very sorry for the mix up, we don't actually have the book you requested, here's your money (shipping included)." I was sooo upset. I want my book!!! And what about the poor chap whose book I now have in my hands?
I immediatly checked the offers on Amazon Marketplace to order another copy but the same seller was listed as the best offer. Hum, weird. I waited a couple days thinking their database simply wasn't up to date but a week later they were still the best offer. So I reordered the same book from the same seller wondering what was going to happen. Well, what happened is that 2 weeks later, here it is! Guys, are you kidding me!? You're so lazy, you couln't fix my order properly and you needed ME to do the work for you!? I'm happy I have my book but you guys are lame. Pff. • #em38bookhaul2017 • #em38lovesbooks • #em38_2017 • #em38_201710

"Overnight every student had become a potential target. The story went national. Three murders had give Osborne a serial killer." -There's Someone Inside Your House
⠀
I finally have this book in my hands! I was so curious to see what @naturallystephperkins wrote this time since this is a different genre that she usually writes. I don't know what to expect from this, so I'm going to jump right in.
📖 Have you read this thriller?
⠀
Eu adoro thrillers e adoro a escrita da Stephanie desde o livro O Presente do Meu Grande Amor - ainda preciso ler Anna e o Beijo Francês 🙈
⠀

My fourth book of this month is Turtles All The Way Down by John Green. It's his first book in well, a while. I have heard mixed reviews but I generally have found his characters well-developed and his storylines well thought out. #amreading #yalit #youngadultbooks #johngreen #duttonbooks

Tonight's plans: snuggling up on the couch with a cup of salted caramel hot chocolate and an amazing, creepy read! 🖤 Side note: I need to add marshmallows to my grocery list. #cgbookclub
