"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We only have today. Let us begin." 🌀✨ Lately I have been having such nostalgia about past experiences while simultaneously feeling a huge shift looming. I'm not sure what it is or why this feeling is extremely powerful. But the only way to find out is to take it day by day.
I've decided that this is the summer of doing whatever makes your heart burst with happiness. You in? 💖
@annagregan food makes me so damn hungry... tofu can taste so good if it's marinated and in a bowl full of kale and rice - trust me... I used to hate tofu too (check her account for more actually good food) 🌻 today I worked on my new embroidery piece and went op shopping at @_swop // bought a cute shirt with ladybugs on it and a denim dress 🍂🍂
The magic of spirulina 🙌🏼
It turns a normal nananicecream into a unicorn breakfast 👌🏼
Not only the colour strikes me everytime I see it but also the ingredients of this super food makes my heart jump 💕 and what makes it jump even more is spirulina combined with nananicecream 😍😍😍 today's nananicecream is made with frozen, homegrown red currants which I picked the other day 💕 lovely colour and freaking tasty 😋
3 frozen bananas
100g frozen red currants
Blend until creamy
For those who haven't heard of spirulina yet:
Spirulina is a natural “algae” (cyanbacteria) powder that is incredibly high in protein and a good source of antioxidants, B-vitamins and other nutrients. When harvested correctly from non-contaminated ponds and bodies of water, it is one of the most potent nutrient sources available.
Spirulina is a great source of other nutrients: it contains vitamins B-1(thiamine), B-2 (riboflavin), B-3(nicotinamide), B-6 (pyridoxine), B-9 (folic acid), vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A and vitamin E. It is also a source of potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, sodium and zinc. ->real superfood!!!
Wish you a great start into the week 💪🏼
Hey you💕 actually I wanted to show you my delicious breakfast this morning but I like to tell you a little story instead 🙈☺️ I found this quote and it just reflects my life. I never lose hope and always believe in the positive and it seems that life works that way. Sometimes I am almost "scared" and try to understand why I am always so lucky while other people aren't. I don't believe, luck only happens to those who deserve it, but to those who strongly believe in it. I believe in God, karma and positivity and this is what gives me strength and luck 🙏🍀 it may sound weird now, but for example I am always lucky with exams (because I believe that hard work pays off), sometimes when I don't pay attention I forget to lock up my bike, once I even locked it up but let my key in there, but it never got stolen. On the weekend I lost my purse while partying or actually now I know it was stolen, I called every place we have been and nobody found anything, but yesterday I was called because someone gave it up at the police station and nothing is gone. Can you believe that? 🙈 the town is huge and we went to so many places but yet it was found and someone gave it back 😍there are still good people out there 💖 these are just a few examples, I experienced similar things many times and yes it's the little things that make me grateful and truly blessed 🙏💭 I hope I could inspire you to always believe in the positive in life and even if you are in difficult times, believe that everything will turn out in a good and positive way ☯️🙌💗

Carrot Cake Oats 🥕 🍰
Topped with blackstrap molasses 🤤 for that extra potassium, calcium, iron, etc 👊🏼
The oats contain 50g chunky jumbo oats, 1/2 a large carrot (grated), 15g chopped walnuts and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, all cooked on the hob in 250ml almond and coconut milk 👅 👅
I love making a boring breakfast seem like pudding, whilst getting in as many nutrients as possible 😜🌿
What do you have on your porridge?!
No hay nada mejor para comenzar la semana que añadir al desayuno un poco de nuestras mantecas @pipandnut, totalmente naturales y con toques especiales, canela, miel, coco... pura adicción y chute de energía para afrontar este lunes. 💚💚
Don’t like Cashews? No problem, You can make a variety of plant-based “milks” by blending raw nuts, seeds, and grains with water ☘️🍼 Almonds, cashews, macadamias, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, coconuts, soybeans, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, sacha inchi seeds, flaxseeds, quinoa, millet, rice, and oats can all be liquefied into delicious milks 👌🏼
Homemade milks are fresh, free of additives and preservatives, and you can completely control the integrity of the product: the quality of the ingredients, the sugar levels, and the texture 👌🏼
You should try plant milks and avoid cow milk, I promise you will feel better and healthier. You don’t need milk to get calcium, there are many plant-based sources of this mineral. In fact, the countries that consume the most dairy also have the most osteoporosis. Besides, it’s so easy to make plant milks at home and they are cheaper and taste much better than store bought 👌🏼
“Milking” raw nuts, seeds, and grains is quick and easy. Here’s how to do it: Instructions are in my comment 👇🏼 and whats your favorite plant-based milk? let me know 👇🏼😊

From where I'd rather be 🌊🌿✨ (because anything beats budgeting, cleaning, and all those other adult tasks am I right? 😅) I'd be lying if I said I hadn't already started planning my next holiday before this one had even finished, but as someone who's never left the east coast of Australia I'm beyond excited to travel and explore new places 🌏
💥How much fruit is too much?💥
🦄Some people say that because of the Fructose in fruit you shouldn't eat too much of it and balance it with glucose. Let's take a look at this idea (hint: it's whack😂)
🐳Let's be clear: the nutritional problems of fructose come when they are added to foods, whether in form of sucrose, high-fructose corn syrup etc.
🦋When it comes to fruit you don't have to worry about the amount: a study tested high amount of fruit consumption (20 servings a day) and participants showed no adverse effects (and possible benefits) for bodyweight, blood pressure, insulin and lipid levels after 12-24 weeks.
🐛Before you go full rampage on fruit keep in mind that fruit still has calories and to reach your goals you gotta keep them in mind. But overall fruit is always a great choice and I hope everyone that is holding back their fruit intake because they fear negative effects now knows better☺️

Summer!!!! ☀️💦🌸 This heat wave in Van has been incredible but has also come with its fair share of fans, cold showers and lots of water 😆I was thinking today how throughout my little journey here on insta I've learned that the best person you can be is yourself. I know growing up, and throughout my later teen years, it was almost intuitive to "follow the pack" and feel as though I needed to be a certain way to be deemed "normal" or "not weird" but I've seriously come to recognize that it's okay to be a little different, no matter which way you define that! Allowing myself to express who I am and be myself has felt so good 😊 I LOVE seeing people share their passions, their interests, or their ideas, it's awesome! By being yourself, you create the space for other people to be their true, authentic selves as well! BE YOU! 💗
a whole new world💫A dazzling taste I never knew🎶😄 rejoice! I'm eating beans again. No belly ache. I just cooked them from dry in the Instant Pot and I'm alllll set! So, THIS is banana ice cream with cooked (then frozen) pinto beans giving it a lot of volume. I think beans are going to be a big help as I cut calories a bit further this week. I'll be filming a what I eat video tomorrow and body update on Thursday. Hope you have a wonderful day ✨
We ordered enough food to feed a family of 6 yesterday, but hey, it was so worth it! 😂 If you haven't tried the pancakes at @nagevadelaide please put it on your bucket list because they will change your life! 🙈 @olivermcnicol
