Perfect lunch with 5 hungry kids today, a ginormous mess, and a baby to feed! It took about 45 seconds to make, added 2 servings of veggies, packed with superfoods, AND tasted like a reeses shake!!! Had a REALLY successful dinner out tonight with the fam.
I told my hubby that I was not up for cooking and wanted to grab a salad from one of the best places in town. Done! 😋
We also got to eat outside on their patio, and it was awesome!
It's been getting into my head a bit that I am not able to workout as much as usual, BUT I am channeling that toward my nutrition and focusing on what I can control. (Don't you worry... I have had PLENTY of "preggo splurges" along the way! I had some freaking Lucky Charms for dinner the other night.. LOL!)
My goals to stay more active and to eat healthier throughout this second pregnancy have definitely happened, and that is something to celebrate! I'm also hoping this will help with labor and delivery this time around... Remember... you too can eat healthier, even while dining out!
Go for the salad.
Get a grilled option.
Opt for brown rice.
Drink water instead of soda.
Have fruit for dessert.
