Soo today I ran my very first half marathon in the beautiful suburb of Devonport! We got very lucky with the weather (it has been raining a lot recently here in Auckland) and got to see some amazing scenery ( got to climb up a few hills for it though 😂) I'm so very proud that I finished it.. It is a huged achievement for me and a year ago I wouldn't have thought I would be capable of that! Bring on the next one in 5 weeks with my work team :) but before that my legs needs some rest! 3rd in Novice. 4th overall. I did something tonight few people believed I could ever do. I want to thank everyone who pushed me and stood by me and encouraged me to keep going. It's amazing from where I started. Coming out with giant quads whenever in high school my coaches nicknamed me "skinny jeans." Now I can't find a single pair to fit me. Then going to cheer at the university working out twice a day no matter what to stay in shape. And now we are here. September 23rd the day of my first NPC show. Months and months of preparation went into this day. And I'm happy it's finally done. A lot of hard work and dedication. Now it's time for off-season. Plan is to compete next year at AState and bring something entirely different to the stage. Thank you @alexbush__ for being my coach at the last second and helping me get here. Thank you @tywoosley23 for helping me out with posing and final critiques. And also thank you @audreykayross for being there for me.

Whaaaaaaat!?? Star struck 🙀. I've followed these two for YEARS and it was incredible to have the chance not only to pose for pictures, but to actually have been lead in an INSANITY workout by Danielle!!! 🙌🏻. My day was MADE!!!!!
Started off this mornings HIIT session with this bad boy - basic yet effective way of getting the heart rate up.
60 seconds skipping
20 jump squats
20 sit ups with db's
20 laterial raises
20 static lunges
Repeat 4 times 🤗
