I have been busy in the kitchen experimenting and learning how to use my new dehydrator. It’s a fun (and delicious) learning experience 😋

Here are some goodies I made...
-Kale chips w/ sunflower seed ranch
-Rosemary, butternut squash and white bean crackers
-Spiced crispy chickpeas -Crunchy banana granola clusters
-Cacao seedy cookies w/ salted banana “caramel”
..... oh and some of my leftover 100% Cacao chocolate with grain free granola 😍🍫😋
In my opinion, snack bowls are just the best! Especially when the snacks make you feel all vibrant and fresh!

Hier wird gerade ein Kürbis-Spinat-Eintopf mit roten Linsen gekocht :) werde euch das Ergebnis natürlich auch präsentieren. Dafür verwende ich diese Kokosmilch. Sie ist nicht ganz so fett & hat 0g Zucker :) Gibt es bei uns im Edeka!

That's why I was shopping yesterday in an organic shop near the hotel and got some 🍅, 🌶, 🥒, 🥕 and pumpernickel bread which is rich in fiber 🌾

For sufficient protein supply I have found a veggie salami snack from @alnatura 🤙🏻🤤

This was the ideal snack yesterday after the functional training in the hotel room (not every hotel has fitness equipment) to get the necessary protein 💪🏻

Dazu war ich gestern noch in einem Bioladen einkaufen und habe mir ein paar 🍅, 🌶, 🥒, 🥕 und Pumpernickel Brot geholt welches reich an Ballaststoffen ist 🌾

💪🏽Arrancando tempranito este día nubladito con un súper desayuno
🍳Omelette de espinaca y queso 🍑Duraznito
🙌🏽 Amo mezclar dulce y salado! Comer huevos a esta hora me da muchísima saciedad y energía para comenzar la mañana! Me encanta la cantidad de variantes que pueden hacerse.
📝El omelette es muy fácil de hacer: ponen 2 huevos/claras en un bowl, le agregan la espinaca, sal y mezclan un poquito;luego lo tiran en una sartencita hasta que se cocine. Agregan el queso por adentro y lo cierran hasta que se derrita.
📌Esta es una de las tantas ideas que me dieron en @nutritioninbody para el desayuno. El otro día pasé a hacerme el chequeo luego de las vacaciones y me fue super bien!
💪🏽Ya les comente que en mi caso tenía que aumentar masa muscular y aunque la aumente poquito, pude bajar la grasa viceral (esa que tenemos que tener controlada) y eso que estuve comiendo de todo, más que lo usual!
✔️Lo que está buenísimo de acá es que usan el “In Body”, una máquina que te mide absolutamente todo, entonces cada vez que salis sabes donde estas parado, que aumentaste/bajaste y demas! 😍Aprendes muchísimo y te tratan con todo el amor!

Freezing cold on the tennis court this morning but no time to make oats before work. So had a yoghurt bowl with all my favourite toppings instead: chia, almonds, coconut, nibs, milled linseed, raspberries, coconut and almond butter and a drizzle of honey. Also loving my daily dose of matcha 🍵. I make make mine with almond milk and a spoonful of skinny (zero sugar) hazelnut syrup because although I don’t have a sweet tooth it really does need some sweetener. I just find the slow caffeine release really helps to keep me alert without the jitters of coffee. There are so many other health benefits to matcha it sounds like a magic tea! I’ve definitely had the best two nights sleep since drinking it but maybe that’s just co-incidence! •

The bowl of fruit on the left also contains great amounts of fibre, vitamins, minerals & antioxidants. All the things the chocolate bar lacks. The benefit of the fruit is that it also helps to curve sweet cravings too 😍⠀

Some fruits also contain better types of carbs then chocolate. Low GI carbs in some fruit release energy slower keeping blood sugar levels more stable & help to keep you fuller for longer 👌🏼The chocolate on the right has high GI carbs which releases energy faster into the blood stream meaning you'll be hungrier quicker 🙁⠀

I wasn't really happy with the way my bowl turned out this morning (even though it was delicious 😁😋) so, I decided not to post it (you can still see it in my stories 🙈). I am taking advantage of this to stop and admire the beauty of the persimmon in this older bowl 😍🙆🏼. Do you like/love persimmons? Yesterday we went grocery shopping and we didn't find any 😯 and someone from the fruits and veggies isle told us that their season it's almost gone and it's possible not to be able to find them again until next autumn 😲😯. I hope he's wrong 😆😆. In this bowl I had a vanilla coconut oatmeal topped with granola + banana + @sano_vita millet seeds + persimmon + kiwi + frozen currants. Happy hump day, everyone!😘🤗

This sumac roasted cabbage is alll about the drama. Dramatic texture, look and taste. When roasted low and slow, cabbage becomes buttery with crisped edges, sweet and savory. It’s one of my absolute favorite veggies to roast for its deep, yet subtle flavor, curb appeal and major cruciferous health benefits. Cut one Napa cabbage into wedges, toss with a drizzle of avocado or olive oil, s + p and 1 tablespoon sumac ( 🤤 ) and throw into the oven at 350 F until super soft with crispy edges (about 1 hour but depends on your oven). Drizzle it with tahini and pumpkin seeds, eat it plain, chop it up and throw into a scramble, toss it whole into a salad, layer a lentil stew on top of it, or turn into sweet cabbage soup later in the week.

➡️Ingredients:
🌿Plain Oats 500 g
🌿2 cups raw unsalted nuts (I like cashews, almonds and walnuts) 🌿1 cup seeds (sunflower, pumpkin)
🌿2-3 tsp cinnamon
🌿1/2 tsp salt
➡️Method:
🌸Blend all ingredients, place on a tray and bake in the oven 160 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
🌸Top it with handful berries, 1 tbsp. Flaxseed powder, plain yoghurt or almond milk. ✌🏽When I want to splash out my favourite granola is @wildsproutcpt Cocoa and Goji Berry Granola. (it's so delicious).

What is your go-to breakfast?
I really love oatmeal in the morning, but my oatmeal can't keep me feeling full for more than 2 hours so when I can't eat for a longer time after breakfast, I usually melt cheese on bread and add some veggies on the side. Today, I added some cherry tomatoes 😋 Fat from the cheese also helps to prevent hunger for longer period of time.
Btw I am food science student so I am kind of obsessed with finding new ways to change my diet into more healthier. Bread machine is really a great thing! I love making home-made 100% whole wheat bread. Lately, I've been making cornbread to mix things up.

Start your morning with a slow digesting meal to keep you full untill your next meal quick easy breakfast in the cold mornings to warm you up with your coffee. Change the banana for blueberries add cinnamon ect change it round so isn’t same everyday if your on a cut might think far to many calories in one sitting but if your up early and won’t be eating for a good few hours then slow digesting oats will help the hunger pain also calories intake as a whole day so you can balances it out when comes to other meals to hit your macros.
