I know sometimes it may look like I just throw a lot of vegetables and fruit together and hope for the best and honestly sometimes I do. However I like to think of the benefits I’m getting from the food and make sure Im getting a good mixture of the nutritional qualities that benefit each other. Each fruit and veg here I could go on for hours about the benefits however I’ve named just a couple from each one and maybe this will help you decide what you want to juice.
Pink grapefruit - lowers blood sugar and cholesterol (keep as much pith on as possible, it’s where the nutrients and antioxidants are)
Carrots - obviously to help you see in the dark! 👀 Carrots are full of beta carotene which is the activator for vitamin A, consuming carrots will aid skin protection, eye health and fight off free radicals.
Cucumber - Hydates, helps flush out toxins and contains a heap of magnesium
Pineapple - great for the bones, helps build osteoclasts aiding people with bone bones and joints issues. Also the enzymes are fab for the liver and digestion.
Ginger - The more the better, fights nausea, anti-inflammatory, fights chronic indigestion.
Turmeric - It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.
Alongside this juice I have had my daily omega tablet along with two while black pepper corns. This increases the absorption of the vitamins and minerals of the veg, especially the turmeric (fat soluble)
