BEST cafe in Canada so far! This place had to have an Aussie chef or owner as they had Avo on toast just like in Bondi 😉and the BEST chai latte I've had in North America since Te Aro in Toronto. I felt like I was back home ☕️ ☕️ delicious!
EAT HERE- @greygardens199
I've been to grey gardens 3 times now, each time getting better and better. I love everything from the cocktails to the decor.
I went here to celebrate the most amazing lady's birthday @rosalind_weller and we had a delicious meal. It's small plates, recommended for sharing.
Starting with the smoked fish, while we sipped on our spritz and mulled over the menu, it was deliciously addictive and a perfect drinks accompaniment. We followed this with the snow peas- and holy moly I think this was my fav, perfectly lemony and with a slightly curried hollandaise it was delicious.
Then came out the tomato salad with pork crackling- CRACKLING 😍 need I say more.
We then went onto the ravioli- which was a perfect mix of sweetness from corn and spicy from the chorizo.
We ended our savoury meal with the brisket- perfectly fall off the bone meat with a spicy citrus slaw that cut through the richness of the brisket, yum!
We were stuffed but there is always room for dessert, so of course, we got both of them! The strawberry churro and matcha, and the bread pudding with cucumber icecream (I loved both components of this one but not necessarily together)
Overall I adore this restaurant and would recommend it again and again.
Perfect for- special occasion, date night
Price range- $$$
Booking required- yes but they do reserve a bar area for walk-ins .
So today I decided to take a walk on the wild side!! Just kidding!! Today, I went to The Wyld!! It's a great little restaurant tucked off near a quaint little pier at the end of a neighborhood near me!! From first looks, I didn't know what I was walking into but once my Kentucky Mule came, I could see the specialness of this place!! The menu was simple but delightful!! I ordered a Caesar salad and purple sweet potatoes baked in butter and drizzled with molasses that didn't disappoint!! The entree of fish and chips came with a lightly battered but tasty and flaky cod that tasted as if it just came off the line!! After that was a delightfully refreshing finisher, a Moscow Mule!! It was hot out there but the umbrellas gave great shade as I enjoyed my brunch!! I'm truly enjoying my little slice of heaven down here!! Peaceful and relaxing!! Time to find the next spot to share with the world!! #foodie#foodislife#foodielove#drinks#food#diningout#exploresavannah#exploresav#eatingout#eathere#savannah#sav#savannahgeorgia#savannahga#theblackanthonybourdain#atableforone#atableforJuan#questonMarq
