Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Muffins
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Salt, a pinch
2 medium bananas
½ cup natural peanut butter
¼ cup honey
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
¼ cup almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Peanut Butter Honey Drizzle:
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoon honey
¼ cup almond milk
Crushed peanuts (optional)
Muffin tin liners
1) Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C.
2) In a medium bowl, mix together flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
3) In another bowl, mash bananas then add peanut butter, honey, Greek yogurt, almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
4) Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
5) Line the muffin tin with liners and evenly pour mixture into the cups.
6) Bake for 15 minutes.
7) For the peanut butter drizzle, combine peanut butter, honey, and almond milk.
8) Top muffins with peanut butter drizzle and crushed peanuts (optional).

R E C E T A :
INGREDIENTES: -230ml de claras
-45g copos de avena -25g harina de avena (de sabor o no, como queráis)
-Esencia de vainilla (en el caso de utilizar harina sin sabor)
-Stevia al gusto (o el edulcorante que uséis)
-30g cacao en polvo
-10g crema de cacahuete
PROCEDIMIENTO -Echamos en un cazo 300 ml de agua o leche, copos de avena, la harina y esencia de vainilla (en el caso de lllevarla)
-Dejamos cocer a fuego medio removiendo hasta que se hayan cocido y quede medio espeso (si es necesario añadimos más agua o leche)
-Una vez conseguido, añadimos las claras y la stevia, removemos rápido. Hasta que veamos que se ha integrado todo y ha cambiado la densidad.
-Apagamos el fuego y seguimos removiendo un poco. -Ahora la clave: apartamos, tapamos, dejamos reposar 10min y listas!!!!
Añadimos el sirope de cacao (30g de cacao + stevia + agua) y la crema de cacahuete! 😍❤️🔝

VEGAN PROTEIN SOURCES:
Are you a vegan, vegetarian or just someone wanting to decrease your animal-based protein consumption? Well if so there are a few things you should be well aware of in order to maintain proper health
1) Getting ENOUGH protein is important to maintain immune function, as well as to maintain & build lean muscle mass. As a minimum 0.7g per pound of lean mass is a good target for a non-exercising human. For individuals who weight train I would bump that figure up to 1g per pound of lean mass at a minimum
2) Protein is comprised of amino acid building
blocks. All animal based protein sources (meat, fish, eggs, dairy) are COMPLETE protein sources meaning that they contain both essential (amino acids that the body can't create on its own) and nonessential amino acids (amino acids that the body can produce on its own)
3) Plant based proteins are NOT COMPLETE proteins, meaning that on their own they do not contain all the 9 essential amino acids you require in sufficient amounts
4) If you choose not to consume animal proteins you need to make sure you are still consuming ALL 9 essential amino acids. You can do so by mixing and matching complementary plant proteins. This does not need to be done at the same meal.. just over the course of a day (ex. bean salad + sesame seeds)
Dietitiantip: Getting ENOUGH protein as a vegan does NOT have to be hard. If you are weight training and/or trying to put on muscle and/or have higher protein/energy needs, try purchasing a VEGAN protein powder. One scoop can pack up to 25g of COMPLETE protein to help you meet your protein targets

Busting through this week like... This is my last week in LA and I'm doing my best to do as much as I can! I’d tried to lose weight many times before.
Occasionally, I had a little bit of success. Mostly, I failed.
Yet this time, in just one hundred days, I reached my lowest weight as an adult.
I lost forty-eight pounds – twenty-two kilograms – during my 100 Day Diet Challenge. That’s three and a half stone. And the weight has stayed off.
I’ve never felt so good in my life.
This huge amount of weight loss proves how effective my unique system for managing dieting, health and other personal projects can be.
If you’re reading this, maybe you have weight loss goals too. If you do, remember this: it is achievable.

Happy Monday! Wanted to post this morning, but life happens... Luna woke up with stomach hurting then fever and I had to juggle work in between🙄... Sooo, here’s the holiday cut out #cookies we made yesterday when Luna felt fine! Hope you had a great start to the week!✌🏼❤️✨
🔹1 1/2 cups almond flour
🔹1/4 cup tapioca starch
🔹1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
🔹5 tablespoons pure maple syrup
🔹1 teaspoon vanilla extract
🔹1/2 teaspoon almond extract
🔹1/4 teaspoon baking soda
🔹Pinch of sea salt
🔹Preheat oven 350F
🔹Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
🔹In a medium bowl, mix dry ingredients
🔹In a small bowl, mix wet ingredients
🔹Combine wet into dry, mixing until dough forms
🔹Place in freezer for 30 min so it’s not so sticky to work with
🔹Place a large sheet of parchment paper on work surface. Put dough on parchment paper. Place another sheet of parchment paper over dough and roll out thin with rolling pin. OR sprinkle flour on surface and rolling pin, but much easier with parchment!
🔹Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shapes and place on baking sheet
🔹Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges golden brown
