I try to give my husband a variety, veggies and all ... Tonights dinner : baked bbq chicken, garlic potatoes, sauteed cauliflower and bell peppers and baked zucchini and squash .... As we continue striving to eat one meal a day and eat dinner early! #eatinggood#healthyeatinghabits
Steamed sugar snap peas, white rice, and potato crusted cod 😍😋 not only is fish healthy but it’s low in fat, high in omega-3 fatty acids (“good” fats), and has lots of protein 😏 just from the fish I ate I got 19g of protein!
Our Seafood Paella w/ Cauliflower Rice was so good, I had to re-make it #Whole30 . Used Imagine’s Seafood stock in place of the alcohol. Doubled the spices in @ourapronstrings recipe. Added bay scallops, fennel, chili powder, and Herbes de Provence (to get some of the flavor of sausages - didn’t use them because I’m certain they have added sugar). #Whole30Day18 🤤👌🏾🥘
...127 pounds of awesomeness that I need to get back to! I lost around 15 pounds in a span of 2/3 months all due to my stress and anxiety levels. It got so bad that I would go the whole day without food unless someone (Rafi aka bae) was there to remind me to take a break and eat. I had absolutely no energy throughout the day, my sleep pattern was a mess, I lost my appetite for good in general, I lost all my muscle definition that I worked hard for and I looked and felt sick. None of my underwear, jeans, or dresses fit me anymore. Recently I’ve been trying to not only fix the physical repercussions of my stress and anxiety by eating at least two good meals instead of one snack a day and working out, but I have also been working on the emotional repercussions of stress and anxiety which have been even more difficult. Overall, I had no idea that my emotions played such an imperative role in my physical well being....definitely going to make changes🙏🏽

In addition, when add beans to a meal, it slows absorption of glucose into the bloodstream What you might not realize is that beans, especially darkly colored ones, are an excellent source of antioxidants. In fact, small red beans are more antioxidant-rich than blueberries.
With beans, you have lots to choose from. It's a breeze to cook dried beans if you have an Instant Pot. I would avoid canned beans, as many cans are lined with BPA.

Yum yum yum. We had pumpkin pancakes and eggs w spinach. Avocado on the side. Then lunch was quesadilla with cauliflower cakes with carrot, chia, flax, almond flour, eggs. #mmm
After talking with my husband ive decided that I did not enjoy doing low carb high fat. This weekend I'm going to take it easy and enjoy my healthy food. Monday I'll start up on shakes again and this time log everything in making sure I'm within a good calorie range.
