Grain Free Peanut Butter Brownie
1-15 oz. can black beans drained and rinsed
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup granulated sugar whatever kind you like, coconut, organic cane sugar
1/4 cup olive or coconut oil
1/4 cup unflavored almond milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. Sea salt
2 tbsp. creamy natural peanut butter or more, if you like
1/4 cup semi sweet or vegan chocolate chips
Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a food processor until smooth.
Grease a pan with a 1/8 tsp oil and preheat over at 350.
Pour brownie batter into the pan.
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Distribute a few dollops of peanut butter on the top of batter and swirl with a knife or chopstick.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 22-24 minutes.
Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
Cut into squares and serve. Enjoy!
Turkeys are moms, dads, and babies too. We don’t have to continue the ‘traditions’ that we see are not justified and morally wrong. We can’t share thanks between our families based on the death of another. This thanksgiving “be the change” and make it about respecting and appreciating other beings different than you by eating @the_tofurky_company or other vegan thanksgiving meals. 🙏🏼🦃🌱 📷 from @vegucated
My deadline is here. 😱
March 5th 2017
I️ told a friend who invited me to a bootcamp gym. The thing I️ hated the most was a gym but enough with my laziness, I️ said. I️ need to do something. (I️ was screaming for help) 😢
March 6, 2017 I️ tried a free class at the bootcamp and I️ did not fell in love at first sight. (The trainer was rough) 😭 I️ thought this is what I need, this will keep me consistent and discipline. 💪🏼😎 March 7 2017 second day at the gym “I️ feel like dying” I told my friend. I️ don’t know how but I️ will keep going. I️ was determined. 🤔 #
April 16 I️ prep my first week of vegetarian meals no meat but I️ had eggs and cheese still. Next week I️ decided to go completely vegan. Why? Because for the first time I️ started to actually care for my nutrition not only a diet but I️ wanted to change my lifestyle for ever. 🙅🏻 (I️ will tell you more how I️ transition to vegan later) 🌱🌱 😍
I️ grew up eating what was served at the table and hearing finish all your food. I️ was often overeating. I️ became obese. I️ spent my whole life overweight. Believing I️ was just meant to be Fat. That was my destiny. This year I️ don’t know if it was my age or how tired I️ was of feeling fat, ugly and unhealthy. I️ realize I️ had a choice and it was up to me to make the change now or never. I️ said I️ wanted a change not only to loose X amount of lbs. But to stay focused I️ set a goal to be at 150 lbs or under by NOVEMBER 16 my 30th birthday. I️ made it. 💪🏼😎 Eight months later I️ lost 46 lbs total. I️ use to wear a size 14-16 when I️ started I️ am now using 4-6
The last eight months was just the introduction. I️ will call it that. 😉 Because my journey starts now. This is chapter number one. Join me as I️ share. “A new life” #fitfam#fitmom#weightlosstransformation#weightlossjourney#myjourney#newlifejlso#trainingj#perdiendopeso#nuevavida#gymrat#gymlife#chicagogym#mexicana#emprendedora#latina#motivation#dirtythirty#birthdaygirl#whosthis#womenempowerment#selfie#newme#runlikeagirl#30yque#welcome30#vegan#vegantransition#vegantransformation#eatlikeyoucare#plantbased
I am curious about something! Will you take the time to answer?
How many of you consume bone broth?
If you do, do you make it or buy it?
If you make it, how often and what types of bones to you use?
If you buy it, where and why did you pick that brand?
I purchased my first 3 this last week to try them. I will wait to disclose my opinions on them compared to my homemade broth.
Thanks in advance!
Grocery shopping, cooking and meal prepping is one of my most favorite times of the week #happyplace There’s something meditative 🧘🏼♀️ and so gratifying about picking out and making your own food and then seeing your fridge full of all that deliciousness #ifeelrich Go check my stories for my grocery haul and meal prep plan for the week🗣 Bye! Xoxo UPDATE: I ditched the Pam at the register....Which is funny (only to me) cuz it’s my moms name 😂

Believe it or not this is my first time cutting and eating a pomegranate. .
As a flexitarian/transitioning vegan. i decided to take my time with becoming vegan again. Trying new foods and recipes is how you slowly start to replace your regular diet with a more plant based diet. It’s not the easiest but definitely not the hardest. i will say i did fall off a while ago but I’m actually learning more about my body and becoming a better cook as i take my time with this. I’m not a person who can normally ‘chef it up’ but i am learning. There are times when i hate my meals and there are times where i didn’t even know i had it in me. It’s a learning process and in due time i know everything will fall into place for me. .
One of my personal favorites from our Take Back the Kitchen group-“cleaner” chicken broccoli alfredo! Gotta love quick, easy AND healthy-still trying to get those veggies in every day where I can!!😉😁❤️💚
Fiber, fiber, fiber, friends! If you are consuming the right amounts of macronutrients, the truth is there is no need to compulsively spend money on the fancy stuff at the supplement aisle. Especially the quick-slim stuff (cringe). Less than 3% of Americans get the recommended minimum adequate intake of fiber. Truth is, the Standard American Diet is rich in animal products, and quite potassium and fiber deficient. That can solved by simply making the produce aisle an important stop on your grocery run, and by making sure to snack on your favorite fruits and veggies throughout the day! Today's treat was raspberries and apples on #chiapudding 😊 So yummy! How do you get your #fruit in? ...
