Layered smoothies: hype or just lots of extra work? 🤔 I tried out this trend this morning when I had a little extra time to play around. The bottom layer is ginger, turmeric, pineapple, banana, seeds and ashwagandha and the top layer has kale, broccoli sprouts and almond milk. Definitely fun for kids and for entertaining, but too time consuming to do it on the daily #kitchenexperiments .

Ich liiiiebe Süßkartoffeln! Am Wochenende habe ich mal was neues damit ausprobiert. 🍠🙃 Zusammen mit Möhren hab ich einen Pufferteig gemacht und dann im Waffeleisen kross gebacken. Die Waffeln allein waren schon wirklich lecker, aber ein bisschen frisches Gemüse passt immer!☝️und ein cremiger Dipp ist super zu Puffer😋  Süßkartoffeln gehören übrigens zu den nährstoffreichsten Gemüse überhaupt! 😍❤️😋

It was unintentional, but the soft pastels of this photo have me swooning and omg could definitely go for some pitaya/passionfruit nicecream and also thank you universe for gifting us all strawberries that cost less than $5 a punnet again because yeah nah not keen on putting my retirement fund to use buying strawberries but also v keen on eating strawberries (see my dilemma?). 🍓💸🙄 Also also, I just smashed out 20km on the exercise bike in the gym and hmmm yah I guess that's probably not actually THAT far but if you ask my bum, HELL YEAH that was essentially like cycling to the goddamn moon (bless the moon 🌒🙌🏼) (but also massive #ouch my butt is forever changed🙄🙄). 🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️✌🏼And as a concluding remark to this semi-nonsensical caption this evening, this dreamy blue plate is from @freedom_australia and I love it more than life itself and yes I purchased one of every piece in the range and yes, the desiccated remains of my bank account say a big hello... Zoats, zucchini oatmeal, zucchini porridge - viele Namen, aber alles dasselbe, nämlich das da oben ☝️😉 Nachdem ich so viel Gutes über diese Kreation gehört habe, musste ich es mal selbst ausprobieren, da es eine tolle Möglichkeit ist, Gemüse schon am Morgen einzubauen 🙄 Allerdings ist es nicht so "versteckt", wie oft behauptet wird, da man schon sieht und auch schmeckt, dass Zucchini drinnen ist. Es ist ungewöhnlich, nicht unbedingt schlecht, aber es wird wohl nicht mein neues Lieblingsfrühstück, sorry 🙈 Jedoch war es zum Ausprobieren okay 😄 Wer also experimentierfreudig ist, hier mein Rezept:

Zoats

60g zarte Haferflocken
200ml Milch nach Wahl (ich hatte gesüßte Mandelmilch)
100ml Wasser
1/2 Zucchini, sehr fein geraspelt
1 Banane
1 Marille
Etwas Salz
1/2 TL Zimt

Die Haferflocken mit der Milch, dem Salz und dem Zimt aufkochen. Zucchiniraspel, eine halbe zerdrückte Banane und das Wasser hinzugeben, bis die gewünschte Konsistenz erreicht ist. Bei Bedarf etwas nachsüßen. Anschließend in eine Schüssel füllen und mit der anderen halben Banane und der gewürfelten Marille belegen.

Today I tried zoats for the first time 😁 I think it's a good possibility to have vegetables in the morning, but I have to admit it's not my favourite breakfast 🙈 Yet it was not too bad and worth a try if you like to discover new flavours!

Zoats

60g oats
200ml milk of choice (i had almond milk)
100ml water
1/2 zucchini
1 banana
1 apricot
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Boil oats with milk, salt and cinnamon. Add zucchini, half a mashed banana and water until it's creamy enough. Top it with the other half banana and the apricot.

I'm going to the Netherlands for a few days, so the boyfriend and I had Date Night yesterday! ❤️ It was super lovely and it started with this dinner. I have to say I'm a bit proud of the salmon 😏 I marinated it in soy sauce, lime juice, rice syrup and ginger extract. I then heated up sesame oil and fried the fish, together with the leftover sauce. So good! 😋 The noodles look scarily like the Chinese takeout they sell here in Berlin, haha, but were very good too. Ohh and 10/10 recommend WonderWoman 👌🏻

This was roasted red pepper hummus & vegan tzatziki made with homegrown cucumbers from last summer. The bestie is not a fan of chickpeas though (no kidding 😅) so thinking of making muhamarra instead. And maybe Ary's @valises_et_gourmandises yummy smoked tofu spread. And I was asked to make my cashew cheese. 😊 Do you enjoy cooking for guests as much as I do? Recipe:
80g buckwheat flour
1 Tbs apple cider vinegar 
100g sparkling water (or more)
50g soy yogurt 
1/2 mashed banana
1 tsp @rawnice blue spirulina
Vanilla
> Combine all ingredients and let the batter rest for 15 minutes. Fry the pancakes on medium heat without oil from both sides until golden brown 💙
The soy yogurt is coloured with blue spirulina too💙

Another part of yesterday's dinner: homegrown berries tart 💚
The base is made of spelt, brown rice and buckwheat flour, coconut oil and a pinch of sea salt and I topped it with ground almonds, homegrown berries (obviously) and coconut sugar - served with some fresh sheep cream (already tried it?! SO good and easier to digest than regular cream) 👍🏼 The base needs to be perfected but we still ate the whole thing so I think it was ok 😏

La pâte est faite de farines de petit épeautre, riz complet et sarrasin, d'huile de coco et d'une pincée de sel marin, garnie d'amandes moulues, de baies du jardin et de sucre de coco - servie avec de la crème fraîche de brebis (déjà essayé?! Trop bon et bien plus digeste que la crème de lait de vache) 😋 
La base à besoin d'être perfectionnée mais on a quand même tout mangé en une fois donc je crois que c'était pas trop mauvais!

So i've read up on maca root and some of the benefits include a boost to your immune system, with increases to your energy levels and stamina, and it also helps with your memory and focus. I'm adding it to my breakfast to see if it helps keep me going through a day at work.

These are spelt pancakes with vegan blue food color. I had so many of them that they actually started to fly away to prevent my stomach from exploding! So kind of them! ❤️🙏🏼💥

This holiday I've been experimented with what I eat and how I react to it. 🛫I wanted to see if it has any effect on me or not. As I believe in intuitive eating and non restricting myself. And I felt like it. 👌Hence, I've just enjoyed food as much as I could.😆 The stuff in Greece and Romania is so freaking tasty!❤ Greece was another level on savoury pastries I must say! And I've learnt something valuable: it might taste amazing if you have it once or twice, but if you carry on for 12 days it comes with side effects. And that's when you know according to how you feel. My brain is so foggy, my skin is somewhat breaking out and my nose is constantly blocked and my jeans don't fit. Ha! At least it's dress season. 👗I knew all these things for years, but after a while they just became theory, as I didn't know what's it like to have them constantly. For some it may work, for me it's clear what I thrive on. I encourage you to be present when you eat anything and see how you feel.🦄Your body will tell you. It may be an allergic reaction, it may be flu lkke feelings or you may feel happy, content and satiated in a gentle manner. 🕊 Take note of that and make your decisions according to it. ❤Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up.❤ What works for someone won't necessarily work for you and viceversa. 🤗

( I use @kokodairyfree unsweetened) 1/2 cup of berries 1/2 banana (frozen ideally)1 tbsp of flax seed, nut butter and hemp.  Blend and top with whatever .. 💜if you don't have flax.. I use @linwoodshealthfoods for most of my stuff.  You should get some as it's an amazing source of omegas, fibre etc etc .. if you don't have nut butter use almonds or pecans but it won't be as creamy .

Today was one of those chaotic mornings where I started changing diapers and the like while getting ready in a hurry to go to meetings. We all have mornings like this, right?Sometimes, more often than we'd like to admit. (Who's with me?) Those mornings when we simply run around trying to get ready as fast as we can ending up with no time to make a decent breakfast. It's in those moments that I love the simplicity of this parfait. A layer of vegan yogurt over fruit purée and fruit on top. What could be simpler? And this is super delicious! I used nectarines as a base, figs and cherries as a topping and bits of sugar-free cookies for a crunchy texture. DELICIOUS!!! 😋👩‍🍳💫💫💫💫

Hoje foi uma daquelas manhãs meio caóticas onde comecei o dia a mudar fraldas e afins enquanto me preparava de forma meio apressada para ir a reuniões. Todos nós temos manhãs assim meio apressadas, por vezes mais frequentemente do que gostaríamos de admitir. (Que está comigo?) Aquelas manhãs em que  entramos em correria e mal temos tempo para preparar um pequeno almoço decente. É nestas alturas que eu adoro a simplicidade deste parfait.
