Give Cloud Bread a try - it makes a TASTY sandwich without those nasty added carbs!  I added garlic powder to the mix and sprinkled on this super yummy seasoning called Everything But The Bagel before baking.  Added some sliced avocado, a couple of fried eggs and cheese and brunch/lunch is served!

Super easy to make and only 3 ingredients.

A pretty yummy cobbled together dinner after bootcamp tonight. Smashed avocado on toasted Warburtons high protein bread with two dry fried eggs and a portion of homemade baked beans. My clever daughter made these; mixed beans and chickpeas with spices, tomatoes, red pepper and a good dollop of our homemade BBQ sauce. So delicious. I also added a leftover heck sausage. 30C, 21F, 27P. 446 cals.

Today’s post workout meal was 🔥🔥🔥 y’all I cannot tell you how much I enjoy eating some of my favorite foods but in healthier ways!

I used to always love bacon and fried eggs for breakfast, but since starting this journey, I’ve dabbled with scrambled eggs with spinach and turkey bacon. And you know I have to have my superfood smoothie on the side! Same delicious taste, slightly more healthy. I call that a win-win!! I’ve also dabbled a little bit with egg whites, but I’ve found that unless I’m trying to bulk up my meal, I prefer plain old eggs.

Vs

Raul’s turmeric-peppered eggs (2), 2 thick bacon strips, 1 medium-sized red apple, and 2 sprouted bread slices...INCLUDING the 1/2 tbsp of butter used on my toast.
Protein: 32g/180g
Carbs: 51g/260g
Fats: 25g/70g
Calories: 561kcal/2390kcal

For those who are having difficulty in understanding this, I am set at specific targets for my daily intake of carbs, fats, proteins, and calories. This is determined by your body composition data (specifically your basal metabolic rate aka how many calories you burn a day), your level of physical activity, and your goals. This way of eating is known as Flexible Dieting/If it fits your macros (except im getting all my nutrition through clean foods).
As you can see, the healthy meal is much more balanced in my macronutrients and I still have room for lunch, dinner, and snacks. 
The McDonald’s breakfast takes up a huge load of my carbs, half of my daily calories, and almost my entire daily fats. This makes it impossible to have other meals for the remainder of the day without going over my target numbers. 
Choose wisely. Spread your macronutrients evenly so you don’t go over and gain weight OR so you don’t find yourself restricting your food so you don’t exceed your limits, thus leading to you getting hangry.

Black Currant seed oil contains GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) that supports

About that delicious Chocolate Loaf I made yesterday evening. I used a secret ingredient to replace butter. Could any of you guess what it was? Avocado 🥑!!! Yes, this delicious healthy good quality fat makes a wonderful substitute for butter. Now you bake a cake and eat it too! 
RECIPE 
1 cup oat flour

1/4 cup raw cacao power

1/2 scoop @vega_team Vanilla sport protein powder 
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 ripe banana, mashed 
1/2 avocado, mashed

1 egg

1/4 cup coconut palm sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1/8 cup coconut milk

Handful of chocolate chips

Dark chocolate almond butter spread by @maranathanutbutters For the topping (great replacement for icing) .

DIRECTIONS 
Separate dry ingredients from the wet. Combine each well then mix the wet into the dry. Add the coconut milk a touch at a time. Then add the chocolate chips. Combine and pour mixture into a loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees F. For 45-50 minutes resting Loaf with a toothpick to see if it’s fully cooking in the center. 
When it’s done, allow it to cool then spread the chocolate almond butter over top.

I may not eat all of this tomorrow, but I'm going to leave the yogurt and cream soda until last so I eat the healthier stuff first.

We are officially halfway into the very first month of 2018. How many of you have already fallen off your health conscious New Year resolution?? Come on, be honest.

It may not have been that first weekend but what about this last one .. Did you “cheat”? Have to go out to eat with friends/family and just figured “ahh, what the heck, I’ll just go all out and enjoy myself.”

Let me offer you an easy solution to eating right.. Well healthier because this day and age what the fuck is “right”.. Right?

Remember where you came from. Look to the past at how our ancestors ate. It wasn’t McDonalds, Burger King, Chipotle or ANYTHING within the center isles of the grocery store.

Look to realign your diet to eating whole, unprocessed foods that come from nature without being turned into something it isn’t.

It may seem crazy to see a caveman carrying a fast food tray but is it really that much different from the crazy things we consume these days we call “food”?

Can I help it if I’m just walking down the street and smoked salmon eggs bene falls in my mouth?!? 😆🤷🏼‍♀️ This is literally one of my all time fav breaky options when I eat out! I generally get the sauce on the side so I can control how much I add (forgot this time so I scraped some off!) and I love to add a serve of greens sautéed in olive oil because... who doesn’t need more greens in their life 🌿 This breakfast using sourdough is the perfect meal to keep you full & satiated all morning long plus you get the added benefits of omega 3 from the salmon and the extra protein supports your metabolism 👌🏼 Breaky doesn’t have to be complicated, boring or tasteless & eating out whilst maintaining a healthy lifestyle doesn’t need to be either! My top tip for eating out is to look ahead at the menu & figure out how to make it healthier before you even arrive (eg. add extra vege, sauce on the side) then stick to your selection when you get there 🤣 #breakfast #highprotein #greens #gains #healthyfat .

I’ve always been more of a raw foods kinda person. Heck, I used to turn on the heating on max and huddle up in blankets just so I can eat my banana ice cream in the freezing English weather 💁🏼‍♀️. That’s what happened to me today. I had a freezing smoothie for breakfast and this delicious combination of raw salads for my Buddha bowl lunch. The combo consisted of: massaged tahini kale salad; zucchini fries; an orange- carrot- beetroot salad, with lentils and mixed seeds; and a dollop of beetroot hummus. 
For the salad: 
1 finely diced carrot 
2 finely diced cucumbers 
5 rinsed sundried tomatoes 
1 finely diced spring onion
1/2 cup of cooked lentils (I used a mix of beluga and red lentils, for a mix of textures) 
1 beetroot (sliced finely and lengthwise)
1 finely diced pear 
5 finely diced mushrooms 
1 tbsp freeze dried cranberries
1 tsp freeze dried pomegranates 
1 tsp of my Omega 3 mix (linseed/ flaxseed/ Chia/ pumpkin and sunflower seeds) 
A handful of finely sliced mint leaves 
1 handful roughly chopped walnuts

For the dressing:
Juice of 1/2 an orange 
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsps ACV 
For the massaged kale salad:
Massage 1/2 a cup of kale with 4 tsps of tahini, juice of half a lemon, some water and 1 tsp of wholegrain mustard. 
For the zucchini chips (easiest thing ever):
Slice 1 zucchini lengthwise and toast in a sandwich press until browned and crispy. 
Plate everything up nicely and dollop generously with beetroot hummus. Yum yum yum 🤤🤤
