Deliciousness on a plate!😍 Papayas boats filled with banana icecream & wild blueberries. Ooh, & the banana icecream has powerful Chaga in it too👍 - all wonderfully sweetened with the help of fresh dates. Unbelieveable goodness here. 
Here's the simple technique:

1) Slice open a fully ripe papaya - the riper it is, the sweeter it is. In my opinion, the flavor of @marthasbest papayas is beyond any flavor I've ever experienced in any papaya. **Use code 'foodsinmykitchen' to receive 10% off any order.

2) Add frozen bananas, dates (datepeople.net), & @vimergy’s chaga powder in a blender, & blend to smoothness.

3) Scoop out the smooth icecream, & fill the deseeded papayas. Sprinkle some wild blueberries on top for more power.

It’s been a great first year of growing thanks to @rocketgardens and their little saplings and plants that they sell - I’ve still not had the head space to grow from seed so they have been amazing. We’ve grown so many different things this year and it’s really encouraged the children to do more in the garden and to eat new things. We grew lots in our little garden in london and have always found it so exciting when it comes to harvesting your own vegetables! I’ve loved our borlotti beans to throw into soups and we are still eating our potatoes which we are storing in a cold store. Ich habe am Mittwoch Geburtstag und ehrlich gesagt freue ich mich gar nicht drauf. Ich mag die Aufmerksamkeit an dem Tag gar nicht... Deshalb gehe ich dem ganzen aus dem Weg und fahre mit meinem Vater zu meiner Mutter in die Reha. Wir gehen dann dort gemeinsam Abendessen und machen uns einen schönen Nachmittag vorher. Das klingt nach einem für mich viel besseren Geburtstag, weil ich mag einfach nicht diese gezwungenen Telefonate mit Verwandten und die viele Menschen um mich herum 🙈

My favourite comfort food - a bowl of gluten free pasta with a delicious home made spicy tomato sauce with garlic prawns. So delicious! Recipe below 👇🏻:
-
- 1 red onion sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic sliced
- half a red pepper finely chopped
- 6 anchovy fillets
- tin of organic chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp sundried tomato paste
- sprinkling of coconut sugar
- zest of 1 lemon
- juice of half a lemon
- chilli flakes to taste
- seasoning
- pack of raw prawns

Fry the onion, garlic, peppers and anchovy fillets. Add the tin of tomatoes, sundried tomato paste, chilli flakes, coconut sugar and lemon juice/zest. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 10minutes. Meanwhile cook the pasta. Add the prawns to the tomato sauce and cook through. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add to the tomato sauce. Season accordingly. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve with a mixed salad 👌🏻Enjoy!
