Summer☀️? Fall🍂? Who knows!? What i DO know is that I was in the mood for a fall-ish soup even though it’s over 30 degrees out there 😓🤦🏻‍♀️. The result was inspired by @kimscravings ‘ Roasted cauliflower sweet potato soup. 
I cut 4 sweet potatoes and one big cauliflower, plus two whole heads of garlic. I drizzled olive oil, maple syrup and a healthy amount of curry and then I threw them on two baking sheets and roasted everything at 425 for about an hour, flipping the veggies every 15 minutes. 
When they were a little burnt and deliciously caramelized, I put all that plus a rinsed can of chickpeas with 4 cubes of vegetables bouillon and 9 cups of water in a large pot and let it simmer for over half an hour. Then, I added a cup of milk and a cup of 5% cooking cream and made everything smooth with my hand blender. 
And damn. My average weight this month on my reverse diet has been 217 with some highs and lows, but my calories continue to increase week by week. Eating nearly 2600 calories a day and going up. @avatarnutrition has been VITAL in my success. For a long, long time (since high school) I've struggled with my weight and at 29 years old I'm in the best shape I've been in a while! 🔹🔹🔹

And I thought "you go M O M." She was there a total of 20 minutes maybe, and got in a couple sets of each exercise. Y E S, some is better than nothing. Anything is better than nothing. Sometimes, for me, this is easy to forget when I can't get to the gym for my full training session. I feel like all is lost, but N O. Here are a few more exercises that can be done anywhere, quickly, and are kid friendly (get them to do them with you!) or- Bonus if you do these with kids climbing on you, right moms?? Try each for 20 seconds on/ 10 seconds rest for 5 minutes.

I got myself into the gym today and did all of the excersies from my physio therapist. Sometimes the #limitations I have from my body that restrict me to the amount, or the way I workout brings me down. I hope everyone is enjoying food that they love and still keep at it at the gym. It's ok and normal to have a cheat meal. But honestly you could eat whatever you would like in moderation. And making your favorite food in a healthy way is always a good choice. But if you make your favorite food fit in your macros, you are perfectly fine.

As I was eating this delicious @sftebakery chocolate chip cookie at almost midnight something came to mind. Most days I don't want to post what I eat because it's "not healthy" and "embarrassing". But you know what? What you eat should never be embarrassing. If you enjoy the food that you're eating then own it! If you like to only eat whole foods that's fantastic! I know some days that's what I feel best eating too. But other days, like today all I eat is junk food. And that's perfectly okay! Today I ate two chocolate bars and a cookie and I loved every single bite of them. I think with media and people in our lives  pushing healthy eating and diet culture we sometimes forget that we all live different lives and what is best for you is not always best for someone else. Everyone is on their own path in life and we should be supporting each other on our journeys, not making others feel embarrassed or ashamed of who they are, what they like, and especially about what they eat. So next time you want to eat something that may not be healthy remember that it's okay to eat those foods. One of my favorite ways to eat this green beauty is as a chip! Who doesn’t like crispy chips??
