Soy and linseed bread.
Spinach.
Cheese.
Chicken or turkey. (i switch it up every now and then)
And i love it. It’s not the healthiest thing compared to some - but it’s better than me going to maccas and getting a burger and chips.

Sooo inside this box there are a dozen glazed donuts. That being said, i believe this time of year (pretty much now until the New Years) is the hardest on people who struggle with disordered eating. I say “disordered eating” because you don’t need to be diagnosed with an eating disorder to succumb to unhealthy habits. My birthday was this past weekend and this week is thanksgiving, so it feels like the celebrating and the eating hasn’t stopped. I’ve tried to be better about not analyzing the caloric value of food so much, but then after i eat *WHAT I WANT* i feel guilty and gross, and like i should have “treated” my body better by eating a “superfood” or something. I’m mentally preparing to eat a lot on Thursday because i know I’m going to look down at my plate and think “you don’t deserve the mashed potatoes AND the Mac n cheese AND the corn bread AND the stuffing” ... how many carbs can i squeeze into a plate ?!? Plus all the desserts and yummy food i didn’t even mention. To wrap this up: balance is key; take everything in moderation. I've said this before in my stories, but I use to frown at salads 😖 like it was not going to happen.  It's weird but I don't like "crunch" 😂 so I don't like your average salads with lettuce 🥗 But I've found I like spinach 💁🏼 I'm particular about carrot too 🥕 I like it raw ONLY when it's grated but I can ONLY eat it whole or chopped when it's been cooked. 
Weird I know but the point is if you don't like the "normal" "standard" something change it and make it yours!  Change aspects to foods that you DON'T like, so then it becomes a good you DO like. 
Make it yours!  Eat what you want!

🎊🍾 As we head in to the holidays many of us find ourselves worrying about weight gain, over eating, drinking and more. Today I feel great about where I am physically and mentally. I’ve been working hard to get healthier and happier the past year or so. I’m succeeding and I plan to continue my success through the holidays. BUT, I will do that, by allowing myself to make good decisions without depriving myself of the delicious treats and such that the holidays bring. I will eat the pie, I will eat the casseroles, I will drink the wine, I will have what I WANT. And I will choose to eat less of it. I will choose to balance my intake with working out and doing a regular yoga  practice. Happiness is really all about a sweet balance of mind and body. I went to a workshop the other day, which made a nice change- for me to be a participant rather than the guide!! The facilitator asked us to write down what our clients 'get' having worked with us! This was a really useful exercise for me and helped me reflect on the work I do. 
So these are the things I wrote down: 
More headspace
More self acceptance
More joy
No guilt
Freedom
Self trust
Confidence
Ease
Peace
Self worth/Self esteem
Empowerment
Less stress
Connecting with their bodies
Feeling comfortable in their skin

Last winter was wasted for me. I felt overworked and undernourished. My immunity was low and my anxiety was high. I was eating wrong and doing wrong. This winter won’t be the same mistakes. Am making room for new ones. So I have already started a few rights. Cold water baths. Regular yoga. And cardio for an upcoming trek. A good thing about starting a few things right is that even when you squeeze in this little devil, it doesn’t feel wrong. I just busted up my entire IG rhythm to post this message, but I’m feeling all rebellious tonight. 
Thanksgiving is next week, and Christmas will soon follow. That means savory foods, parties, drinks, gatherings, candies, celebrations. 
You know what that also means? 
Bullshit messages everywhere telling you how you should eat during this time. 
If I see one more message about how to enjoy the holidays and not {enter guilt-ridden message} I may flip the table. 
How to not gain weight, eat this not that, how to avoid bad foods, blah, blah, blah. 
Life is short, my friends. Too short to worry about what the damn scale says between November and December. 
Enjoy the holidays.
Enjoy time with friends and family. 
Enjoy Aunt Sally’s homemade fudge full of refined sugar. 
Enjoy gathering around the table full of your family’s traditional recipes. 
Eat a piece of cake AND pie. 
If you want. 
Life’s too short to be guilted by ANYONE into not enjoying something. To live in a state of anxiety worrying whether you’re eating right or wrong. 
Even if you gain a few pounds over the holidays...LIFE WILL GO ON! 
Your regular routine will resume. 
Your healthy, intuitive choices will return. 
Life will not be over if you indulge over the holidays! 
Do what YOU want! 
Drown out the noise all over social media {including this one if it doesn’t jive with you} and listen to what YOUR intuition is telling you. ✌🏻❤️🎤
