I was so confused about which type of pasta to cook tonight. In the end I settled on this creamy 🍅 pasta. It was supposed to be a pasta bake but I was too impatient to finish it off in the oven. It hit the spot all the same 😊 #veganbysomi

Today i tried the red lentil pasta from @dm_dmbio . This was my first try! I decided to combine it simly with a plantbased creamy garlic-cashew sauce and caramelized onions. Even if you are not vegan (and i eat not completely vegan!) this sauce makes you dream. It's so creamy, simple to make with lots of healthy ingredients. Much more better than a regular white sauce with margarine, flour and co!
To be honest i have to say that these glutenfree lentil pasta is a real great choice for people who are gluten-sensitive. For me it will stay just a try, i prefer the real pasta😊

Comfort food done healthy! A pasta packed full of nutrients: Broccoli, chicken, spelt pasta and an AH-MAZING homemade almond and basil pesto. Even my Sicilian boyfriend ate it and he is a serious snob about pasta. Fun fact: While spelt does contain some gluten and is not suitable for coeliacs, it contains enzymes that break it down completely differently than the gluten in wheat, so is waaaay better Tha wheat, and is high in B vitamins and minerals.
