I always love handprint crafts because they make such adorable keepsakes. This Woven Paper Plate Bee Craft has cute handprint wings that are sure to delight and be something to cherish for years to come. These adorable bees have woven stripes which makes this a great insect craft to build your children’s fine motor skills and makes good use of your yarn scraps too.
One of my favourite things about this simple bee craft is that is has wide yellow stripes that leave plenty of room to write personalised messages. We love to write puns using the word BEE. How about a “BEE MINE” or “YOU’RE THE BEE’S KNEES” for a sweet bee Valentine craft or “BEE HAPPY” for a birthday?
Try this #VroomTip while brushing your child’s teeth! As you look in the mirror, talk about how your faces are the same and different. You both have two eyes and a nose, but yours are bigger. You both can make funny faces. Make a funny face and see if you can make them laugh! ⠀
#BrainyBackground : Comparing how your faces are the same and different helps your child learn to sort objects and experiences into categories. Sorting information into categories is important for reading, math, and science. And this game builds the connection between you!

We made gak! It's just cornstarch and water. It's got such a weird texture; somehow simultaneously a solid and a liquid.⠀
If you click the link in my bio and follow the "freebies" tab at the top you can find this recipe (along with a few others) under "sensory sillies." But really it's not much of a recipe; it's just cornstarch and water, play with proportions until you get the desired consistency!

I absolutely love my job as an infant/toddler educator and I already feel a creative part of me lacking since being off work 😬so there’s no doubt in my mind that while I’m on mat leave that I’ll be up to more creations like this button exploration mat! All materials were from the dollar store. 2 pieces of felt sewn together after I stitched and hot glue gunned the buttons on. So fast and fun! Can’t wait to make more sensory mats! 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻 #ece#earlychildhoodeducation#infant#exploration#play#grow#sensory#dollarstore#diy#babygirl#aurorapaisley
