So you want to reform our educational systems? How are you going to do that? Where will you start? What are the real issues? What are you doing to solve them? Where are the pockets of success? What are they doing that works? How will you inspire students to be self-learners? How will you incorporate character development? Will you have the courage to meet families where they are? What resources are needed? Will your love for music and lyrical expression transcend in the classroom? What kind of leader are you? How will you collaborate with others around you? Is this your passion? Why? How will you leave your mark? ❤
This weekend felt amazing. As one chapter closes, another begins. To make change, I have to continue questioning. I hope I inspire you to do the same!
Words can't describe how grateful I am. I'm HUMBLED and most of all THANKFUL that God has placed his hand on my life. Many are called but very few are chosen. For my life however, I vow to use what God has given to me only to enlighten others with a future, hope, and love. Today is a blessed day. A day that barriers are broken and a day where most of all, My Lord and Savior gets the glory. Mathew 6:33 #xula16#masters#educationalleadership#lifeisgoodandgenerous#futureschoolprincipal

Sometimes the lens under which teachers are critiqued is so microscopic that I forget to look myself in the mirror and praise my hard work and commitment.
There are some days that I have to repent because the thought of me “not being good enough” crosses my mind.
But I pause and reflect on the years I’ve served and reflect on the years of studying and developing it took for me to get here.
I vow to never smother my dreams or hush my fire to appease. I will stare myself in the face and say “well done!”✨
Well I guess it’s officially official now🎓...though I graduated (walked across the stage) in June, I just received this yesterday😊.....that was the longest exit clearance process ever @kuseahawks but my educational experience was phenomenal....#phd#educationalleadership#itsawrap
