Airbnb : list an extra room in your house on Airbnb.
You have an extra room in your house ? Going to be gone for a week and are looking to make some serious dough ?
Literally make money FROM your home !
Believe it or not this is seriously the easiest way ever to pull in hundreds (even thousands) of extra dollars per month. Most of it involves very little or no work on your end and there is almost 0 overhead to get started.
This is something that not nearly enough people are taking advantage of. If you own a home, consider putting a room (or the whole place) on Airbnb.
How it works -> create a listing (http://bit.ly/2k8qXUM) filling out a description, taking and uploading photos, and setting a price. Your listing helps guests get a sense of what your place is like. Then, you set the availability and house rules for your listing. Once your listing is live, guests can book their stay at your home, and you start earning money.
To up the “trust” factor for both the host and the guests, Airbnb does require some verification information, including phone numbers.
After a visit, everyone gets the chance to write a review. Reviews keep guest accountable for treating hosts and their homes with respect, and helps ensure hosts make their space as welcoming as possible.
You would be surprised money you can make with and extra room, a caravan, a bus, a boat and more. Think about it.
Is your day as great as mine ? I hope so ;-)
In a single moment last week, countless lives were changed in El Alto Bolivia. We were able to negotiate a contract worth $71,000 between SutiSana in Bolivia and a local corporation. We will be putting the corporate logo on an aguayo messenger bag and handkerchief made by ladies rescued from prostitution for a conference that will take place in New Orleans November 2018. That's pretty awesome, right? But that isn't the full story. You see by receiving this contract, SutiSana will be able to hire 2 women who have left a life of prostitution with full time employment. The reality of many of our ministry partners is that they have people they can employ but they are unable to do that because there is not enough work to be had. In the case of SutiSana, these 2 women had just completed the sewing training and were on a waiting list praying that they would be hired.
In February 2016 when I walked through the brothels in El Alto Bolivia, I watched as women sold themselves, many so they could feed their children. It broke my heart that women had no other option but to do this to survive. As I looked at woman after woman, I thought the power to change her life would affect her children, parents, siblings, and the community. It gave me the resolve to constantly be looking for ways to increase sales so we could hire more women and change the future of generations. In 2016, we created designs that did just that. Based on our designs, they doubled sales from 2015 to 2016. With our collection in 2017, they are on track to double their sales from 2016 to 2017.
It made me start thinking, what if corporations put their logos on products that change lives versus just putting it on an item that comes from a factory where workers aren't even being treated fairly. What if every time a church put their logo on a tee, they only partnered with ministries rescuing people from trafficking while sharing the Gospel? If you have the influence to decide where your company logo goes, I would urge you to use it for good. If we all worked together, we have the power to change lives not only in Bolivia but around the world. Thank you for partnering with The Marketplace to see a better world!
We must protect our Queens! We have to teach our young men to how respect, admonish and defend our women. We must hold others accountable when they do not, silence is a form of consent. Men do not sit by idly as your friends/family discuss and display these behaviors and not intervene. Our hearts go out to those who have had to endure these senseless acts. 💜💜💜 #Educate#Equip#Empower#BlackDollarNetwork ♻️ #Repost @democracynow ・・・

No one is immune to magnitude of #metoo dialogue right now—a rallying cry against sexual violence and harassment of women. I am encouraged that this subject is beginning to be openly and productively discussed in a way we did not do when I was a young girl. My hope is that this conversation is going beyond the pages of social media and into our homes. My hope is that this conversation is for the ears, minds and hearts of our fathers, sons and daughters. My hope is that this conversation is supported by action and example in the way we lead through our own choices in life/relationships. My hope is that more awareness, actions and attitudes will mean less #metoo for our daughters.
3 simple words that I think sometimes are taken for granted at times. Be the person who always fights to live by a set of standards that lifts others up. See the good in everyone. Recognize personal growth opportunities and realize that these same life standards may not be the norm for all, be prepared. Remember that fear of loss or failure sometimes comes into play when strength is shown in exceeding goals and aspirations. ◼️◼️
HONESTY: Never sacrifice being honest in any situation. Good or bad, be proud enough of the person you are to stand up for what is right and how you feel. Many times we are wrong. Other times we are right. In either instance, say what you know to be true and don’t change course or be influenced otherwise.
SINCERITY: Speak with sincerity in every aspect of life. When you talk, others must know you mean what you say and you’re not “buying in” to anything other than be true to your heart and who you are as a whole. Being sincere, builds trust and proves that you’re doing what you say you’re going to do. When this is accomplished, people will start to want to work WITH you, rather than feel forced to.
INTEGRITY: This is the biggest one yet. It’s easy to place blame or have it placed on you. Don’t ever sacrifice who you are as a person for anything or anyone. Be conscious of information coming your way and who you’re receiving it from. NEVER, EVER allow anything to question who you are or what you stand for. Eventually all will know nothing can be said or done to tarnish your character or who you’re GOING to be! 3 rules. 3 important rules. Live by them #LetsWork

¿Qué mejor manera de comenzar el miércoles?
Feeling all content and chuffed with myself for finding a shady spot to read and drink my iced coffee 💁🏼 until 35 seconds later I tipped the whole coffee over after a red ant joined me 🤦🏼♀️ Really just sharing this to highlight the importance of BALANCE when travelling. If I want this lifestyle to remain a lifestyle long term I need to have a balance of downtime and exploring foreign places as well. Don’t expect to outrun universal laws - what goes up MUST come down. So make space for the waves.
This lifestyle is already proving difficult and the “what the hell is my game plan” thoughts come rushing in on the regular BUT I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My only option is to keep going and work it out as I jump ❤️ -

Late night musings:
There's A school of thought I will never be able to get on board with: The idea that to be empowered- women must lose their right to sexuality. As if to imply our sexuality, and sexual identities only exist for others and the second we empower ourselves-to be anything but modest and quiet about sex is wrong. That to be a feminist or an empowered woman you may no longer be provacative, sensual, sexual or proud. That you can no longer express yourself and your sexual identity, enjoy your sexuality, display your feminity with pride.
As if anything involving our beauty, feminity, sexuality, bodies and more can only be done for other people's enjoyment in mind and not for our own.
A woman's sexual identity is her's alone. She may express, accept and explore it any way she likes. It does not exist to please others. To be proud of sexuality Is not to accept objectification.
An empowered woman still has a right to her own confidence, invidualism and autonomy: to wear makeup and clothing that make her feel beautiful, to display the body she is proud of, to change our appearance however we like, to enjoy and speak about sex and sexuality without shame, without it automatically being for someone else.
To be sexual is not always to be sexualized.
And to be proud is never to be "asking for it."
Be Empowered. Be Strong. Be Sexy. Be Beautiful. Be Sensual. Be Sexual. Be Feminine. Be Proud. Be You.
With the amount of female solidarity being shown in the past few days, and the support of decent men...there are still too many I've seen in this school of thought out there, too much victim blaming, too much shaming, too much judgement.
I will never be on board or understand.
I will continue to be both empowered and Proud of my sexual and feminine identity...because there are few things more empowering than feeling Comfortable, sexy, and proud In my own skin and expressing it however I choose.
