KNOW YOUR BUILD. One of my biggest struggles with weight loss was comparing myself to other girls. I am a naturally broad and muscular girl with a small waist, muscular legs, wide torso and big ribs! what can ya do? 🤷🏽♀️ never compare yourself to others or the quickness of the results others are achieving. We each have different metabolism, muscle mass, body fat % and body shape. Love yourself in each stage, change the things you want change, encourage others, but never lose sight of who you're working so hard for. It's all for you. 💪🏽 a little rant/motivation for all my pretty ladies and even gentlemen who made have some of the same problems with building muscle. It comes with time, hard work, and dedication. leave no room for judgement of yourself or others💪🏽
2017 FSAE Lincoln is officially over. And even though we didn't finish as high up the ranking as we and the car were capable of, we learned a whole lot about ourselves and the car. We look forward to the next competition year and farewell for now Lincoln!
Viva la vida .

Boise Sprint complete! 14th place elite male, 249 points towards the US Elite Point Series, and 100% obstacle completion! 1 spot away from coin. Overall I'm pretty happy with this result. My fitness is there, I felt amazing and immediately after the race I felt like I could do it again. Unfortunately what I have in fitness I lack in Obstacle proficiency and transitioning from run to obstacle and vice versa. In short I'm great at running and mediocre at the rest of the race. I'm in Triathlon mode right now which means slow and steady wins the race. My Tri season ends in 4 weeks, I'll be working my weaknesses much more from that point on.
Quick Race Report:
I went out fast today, I was in 7th going up the first climb. I lost some ground from slow walls and downhills. I went into the bucket carry in 14th place and got passed once. I reclaimed 14th place during the twister. Fun course, loved the venue. Idaho is amazing and Boise has blown my expectations away, I love this town!
PS I met many of you for the first time today! It was great to talk to everyone!

Pulaski, TN?!! ...Pulaski?? Lol so pumped to be flying out tomorrow for second OSA camp this summer
It's amazing meeting new, friendly, & awesome people in little pockets across the country!
These compression socks are ridiculous. 😜 I'm working on a #running streak. I'm aiming for 30 days, running my regular training schedule and inserting a mile on my "off" days (which are almost never actually "off" given #triathlon#training and yoga and weights and core work and...). Just finished day 4. ✨ BTW, I see other #endurance#athletes posting pics of themselves overlaid with the training they did, that day. Is that an athletic app or are they using a basic text overlay? ✨ Would love to know what your fave tracking and training-related apps are! 🏊♀️🚴♀️🏃♀️
Huge day for one of the @force_multisport coaches. @espejo09 took the overall win today at the Tupper Lake Tinman half iron today in 4:21. Mike has slowly progressed in this sport, often learning through trial and error. Who better to lead you on that same journey, but someone who has been where you are and now has taken a overall win in a legit half iron race. Coach Mike still has a few athlete coaching slots remaining for this season so reach out today before his roster fills up. #forcemultisport#endurance#halfironman#triathlon#mayflowerbrewing
I talk a fair bit about having a tight core, but what does that even mean, bro? ⠀ ⠀
To feel your core tighten, imaging you are standing up straight... Pull your belly button in towards your spine, raise your chest up and try to lengthen the back of your neck. ⠀ ⠀
This is what it feels like to have a tight core. If you can maintain this position as you swim through the water, you’ll be working against a lot less resistance! #TeamSwimFast
The Native Jackal Trail Marathon is my favorite Jackal Marathon and it didn't disappoint this year. Cool temps early prompted many to take advantage and put down strong miles on this tough course until the sun spiked through the clouds. I finished in 4:54:35, my fastest Native by 36+ minutes. So proud of the 22 Jackals that finished all 5 marathons in 5 days. Just amazing people, amazing stories. The top 1% of humans from all walks of life that are changing the world and those around them one step at a time. #RunItFast#JackalMarathons 📸: @mogle1128
