👉🏾 I gave my #legs a good two week break and I freaking miss it! The exercises in this video will be part of my everyday warmup routine giving my knee just enough stress where there isn't any pain but still #challenging enough to regain some strength back as the swelling continues to go down. 👉🏾

👉🏾 keep on mind that I've had knee #surgery a few years back and I've got a good idea of what my body can handle. Always make sure to give yourself enough rest after an injury, but make sure you get right back to strength training as soon as you can. During the healing process of an injury the muscles need some rehabilitation before going back to lifting heavy, be smart about it And listen to your body! 👉🏾 the box squat using both feet was a tester to see if I could be ready to do the pistol box squat. If I felt too much #pressure I would have left it alone! 👉🏾 I made it a point to focus on the injured knee (left knee) by leaning and putting more pressure on leg on the upward #motion of the exercise. Doing that helps to prevent my healthy leg from over #compensating and taking away the workload of the leg that needs it! 💪🏾
2 weeks ago I made a commitment to myself to switch my diet to a #vegetarian#diet , I only been eating #plantbased foods. I have more energy, my #joints feels better than ever before, and my #strength and #endurance is increasing day by day... first time of doing 3 sets of 225 for 20 reps.. I’m getting my #gains back

#painnowglorylater • 🗣Still keeping strong with my running game! Work was exhausting but I knew I had to get home and still get my run in! Roads been covered in black ice those last 2 days so keeping it safe I made a brutal dreadmill work out. 3x 2miles interval with the following exercises post each 2miles •15 rock back and forth & jump burpees; •20 push ups; • Pegboard traverse; •15 lunges with a weight vest and 50lbs barbell; •15 squats with weight vest and 50lbs barbell & finishing off with straight 4miles for a total of 10. That workout crushed my soul 😨 followed by some rolling and salt bath!
