Super journée hier à Guécélard avec Sylvie pour notre première endurance 20km. 🐴🦄💪🏃‍♀️ 144 participants répartis sur des épreuves Amateur et Club, entre 20 et 90km. 🗺

Nous avons rejoint Melanie de Loisirs Equestre d’Écouflant qui a fait une très chouette marraine de première course 😇 et ses cavalières d’assistances qui nous ont aussi prêté mains fortes, bel esprit de solidarité! 🙏 👩‍⚕️ Le premier contrôle véto s’est bien passé , Shadi tranquille comme tout et pas le moins du monde perturbé par l’ambiance énergique sur place, un rythme cardiaque à 36, bon état général bien qu’un peu raide au trotting à la sortie du camion d’où le B en allure.

Nous nous étions inscrites en club 3 10/12km/h en croyant que sur une première course nous ne saurions pas comment ménager les efforts de nos chevaux, en fait nous avons été en « sur-vitesse » une bonne partie de la course car l’allure naturelle de nos chevaux est entre 14 et 15 km/h! Pas évident ensuite de savoir jauger l’allure pour faire redescendre la moyenne pour arriver dans les temps en dessous des 12km/h, bref il va falloir revoir un peu le calcul mental!! Nous avons fait nos 19km en 1h40 donc plutôt satisfaite pour une première!
Les terrains étaient bons et le parcours en forêt très sympa, les chevaux détendus et réguliers.

Contrôle véto d’arrivée au top (même mieux qu’au départ!) avec un cardiaque a 39 et un très bon état général. 👩‍⚕️ Shadi me le confirme donc il a un cœur en Or, au sens propre comme au figuré!! ♥️♥️ 🥈🥉Nous nous classons 23eme sur 36 sur la club 3, ce qui n’est pas un classement de fou mais pas facile encore une fois de réguler l’allure, 10/12 c’est vraiment trop lent pour nos chevaux.

Côté organisation c’était vraiment impressionnant, chapeau pour un tel professionnalisme, on voit qu’à Château Gaillard ils ne rigolent pas avec la compétition.🏆 J’ai été ravie de cette première expérience et j’ai hâte que la saison reprenne en Mars, car cette discipline exigeante m’a vraiment séduite!

Long story short,

There aren't any, all types of food consumed within a calorie restricted diet will help you lose body fat.

One 'good' food in isolation won't make you lose body fat, just like one 'bad' food in isolation won't cause you to gain fat.

Consider this;

A diets quality and the collection of foods that you eat can be seen on a spectrum from BAD to GOOD. Ask yourself, where do you lie on this?

I personally like the 80/20 rule, not the 100/0 rule....Diets aren't an 'on/off' switch, they are on a spectrum.

That being said, there are certain foods that help help you to lose body fat by making a calorie restricted diet more manageable. The sustainability and longevity of any approach is key. Granted, a diets balance and flexibility may become very compromised in some weight making athletes or bodybuilders. 
But for most, this simply isn't the case.

Even your typical athlete, freedom with food choices is 100% allowed and is encouraged assuming that they account for the really important things, such as energy balance, food composition/quality and macronutrient intake MOST OF THE TIME.

So, here's what I would consider a healthy die: ✔️ MOSTLY consists of naturally occurring, minimally processed foods such as; lean meats, fish, wholegrains, dairy, fruit and vegetables.
✔️ It covers your calorie, macro and micronutrient requirements.
✔️ SOMETIMES consists of ‘free/junk’ food.
✔️ It’s balanced, sustainable and allows for social events.
✔️ It fuels daily activity and performance.

⚠ Best Fat Loss Foods? ⚠ Long story short, There aren't any, all types of food consumed within a calorie restricted diet will help you lose body fat. One 'good' food in isolation won't make you lose body fat, just like one 'bad' food in isolation won't cause you to gain fat. Consider this; A diets quality and the collection of foods that you eat can be seen on a spectrum from BAD to GOOD. Ask yourself, where do you lie on this? I personally like the 80/20 rule, not the 100/0 rule....Diets aren't an 'on/off' switch, they are on a spectrum. That being said, there are certain foods that help help you to lose body fat by making a calorie restricted diet more manageable. The sustainability and longevity of any approach is key. Granted, a diets balance and flexibility may become very compromised in some weight making athletes or bodybuilders. But for most, this simply isn't the case. Even your typical athlete, freedom with food choices is 100% allowed and is encouraged assuming that they account for the really important things, such as energy balance, food composition/quality and macronutrient intake MOST OF THE TIME. So, here's what I would consider a healthy die: ✔️ MOSTLY consists of naturally occurring, minimally processed foods such as; lean meats, fish, wholegrains, dairy, fruit and vegetables. ✔️ It covers your calorie, macro and micronutrient requirements. ✔️ SOMETIMES consists of ‘free/junk’ food. ✔️ It’s balanced, sustainable and allows for social events. ✔️ It fuels daily activity and performance. ✔️ It allows you to achieve and maintain a healthy/ideal bodyweight. For me this pose is about pushing me outside my comfort zone. It is about leaning forward with all the body weight to the point I think I’m going to land on the floor with my face. It is about trust myself and go for it.... and when I passed that ‘fear’ point, things started to work out for me. It took me 10 months of yoga to achieve these 2 seconds. Now: to enjoy the journey until I perfection this pose and many others. .

Ran 16 kilometre... could have done 20 but got shoe bite because of my new @asicseurope running shoes(they are lovely).
For those concerned about my knee injury, it’s nothing serious. A chunk of skin has peeled off hence I cannot leave the injured portion open. But it doesn’t affect my movement at all. I hope it heals soon as I am set to take part in @spartanarabia in 20 days . #dubai30x30
