Today I visisted a sports nutritionist; even though I'm very consistent with training and exercising, I'm not so much with eating what my body needs. Plus, as from next week I'll be moving further away from work which will add about 35km of cycling to my week days. That xtr energy has to come from somewhere so time to step it up and ask for help.
Another reason for a closer look at my eating habits is a ski injury I've been dealing with for the past 7 weeks: recovery has come to a stall and I feel that eating healthier with benefit my recovery and will help prevent injuries in the future. Fingers crossed... *gotta love these leggings <3
Who's ready for Rolex?!? This weekend I'll be covering the race for @slipstreamnet. If you're going to be at Daytona this weekend keep a heads up and if you see me say, "Hey!" I love Rolex and it's one of my favorite events of the year. Sure Sebring is more raucous, but there's something about falling asleep and waking up to the same race that's special. It's the crowd, it's the history, it's the racing. Endurance racing at Daytona is awesome.
