The picture to caption ratio is going to be way off here, so bear with me
While I’m no seasoned veteran, complacency has got to be one of the worst things to fall victim to in business. @grantcardone talks about it in his best seller, the 10x Rule. No bueno.
While I’m not (yet) quite the businessman Grant is, experiencing complacency on a smaller scale was enough to scare me. Proved to myself that I could start my own business, create a valuable product, and successfully push it out into the market.
The brain is a weird thing, because I then thought it would be okay to take my foot off the gas for a month; while I sat back and let the chips fall where they may. Planning, evaluating, patting myself on the back for making a little bit of money, watching the cubs (lose)..whatever you want to call it
Thankfully I snapped out of it, resulting in this being my 13th hour of work today..and the 13 touch follow up sequence on my screen
Yes, I do consider posting on my Instagram work (personal branding😉). Working for yourself has its upsides
If you’ve made it this far, hi. Humbled
"Today is the first day of the rest of your life in your business journey - the day you take your vision of success seriously, the day you take failure off the table knowing that you have the courage to break through, and you will do what needs to be done" - Steve Mcleod
I'm so incredibly proud of my husband, Steve. Not only has he written a book, but a book that inspires and drives business owners to be the very best they can be. The book covers a lot of our own personal journey too which I have loved looking back and reflecting on. Sitting out on our deck re-reading and feeling very inspired ☺️#business#businessbook#quote#courageforprofit @courageforprofit #businessowner#smallbusiness
"Don't try to make the road shorter, but travel it in such a way that every action leaves the land more fertile and the landscape more beautiful."
In a world of instant gratification it's difficult to remain patient on things that really matter.
Avoid this pitfall and just enjoy the moment, leaving everyone better than you found them.
College does not work for everyone. Some people do best without college education. Most college students become workers when they are older. Only few become CEOs & Business Owners. Entrepreneurship is a skill that most fail to do. It takes risks, hard work, and constant dedication. Most only work 8 hours and are extremely sad with life. If you're sad about your situation simply change it by working more, and surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals that see your vision. It won't happen overnight. Strategize, visualize, and don't pay attention to anyone that says you "can't do it"
College is a tool and obviously is useful for things you want to study in, or work for. 🖒💰 Entrepreneurship can't be taught in school.

To understand happiness, success, fulfillment, and every other area of life... we must understand ENERGY!
Everything in this world is made up of energy - including our THOUGHTS! Every thought we have (consciously or unconsciously) translates into a beam of energy that's being put out into the universe.
The more time we focus on each thought, the stronger this field of energy becomes.
Focus on things/people/circumstances in your life that bring you joy, love, gratitude and passion - and you will continue to ATTRACT more and more things/people/circumstances that give you those same feelings and emotions. Scientifically proven!
"Before we are able to change the reality we live in, we must first change the thoughts that reside in your minds." This has been the biggest KEY I have learned. It has led me into a whole new realm of life. Hope it helps someone reading this. Awareness is the first step.
Be patient with other people's progress but make sure you are not being negatively affected by them while you wait. People who truly want to grow will show you that they really do. Actions speak louder than words!
Why not take a chance on life? Get off the sideline. Stay curious about learning new things. Cultivate what really matters. Be intentional with how you spend your time. Have more fun. Feel the liberation from your choices. Live your beautiful life. ♡
