Three in depth studies of artworks I made for pictorial composition course 🎨 - just starting - it is the 1st week out of 9...
...I am actually surprised I had time to do all of these - this week was really busy for me 😄
I'm finally home for winter break after a hectic and stressful quarter so I'm gonna start posting my work from this quarter.
These pieces are from my senior 1 class. This class was definitely a learning experience. I got a chance to do some world building for an ongoing world I'm developing. I also learned that I need to be a lot more organized when doing a collection like this. Definitely going to go into next quarter with a more concrete plan to tackle my next concept collection.
Aaaaanyway here's an environment and two room designs from this world. Im really happy with how the baths turned out in particular!
I’ve been working on a creature design for my Vis Dev class. Here are some rough sketches of my Peryton, a deer bird hybrid from Atlantis. I took an existing tale of a creature because I have such little experience with animals.
It has wings, but I drew it without them so the structure of the body can be seen. I’m actually enjoying this project more than I thought I would and have started forming my own story/lore branching off of the established lore of the creature. Maybe it’ll turn into something.
So I decided to program my own engine for Physics based Platforming in unity, tight and responsive, but physics based to allow for more interesting interactions Probs gonna aim for the asset store. So far so good I think!
