The perfect description of feminism in my opinion. Both woman AND men being given the choice to be whatever they want and express themselves however they want without restrictions or social constructs that shame it. If you wanna be a CEO, go for it. A stay at home parent, good for you! You wanna get an abortion, more power to you. You want to never have a child, or have 15, get married, or never really settle down. Wear makeup or not. It shouldnt matter. Feminism is equal rights and opportunities. The ability to choose.
This happened at my job the other day. When I heard this my jaw dropped to the floor. I hate when people think feminists are just women who hate men. If that was the case it wouldn't be called feminism. Women aren't slaves. Women weren't created to just have babies, and take care of men. Women were created equal to Man.
I hate hearing situations were a Lil childish girl is keeping the #child away from their father either out of #spite , #money or him not wanting to be with her. #Fathers deserve #equalrights a #woman shouldn't be able to dictate when and where a father is able to see their child. The system should not be set up to wear a man pays #childsupport but doesn't get to see their child. A #bitter , #petty , #immature woman uses the child as a #weapon against the father.
A Misogynistic Culture will always promote a Victims Silence as a tenant of rewarded behavior, or Speaking Out as a sign of disobedient disruption. 🤷🏾♀️ Join me on February 8th at the GA State Capitol for Equal Rights Amendment Day! #equalrights#womenempowerment#womensmarchonwashington
