Seems like Christmas isn’t exactly over with sparkly✨ backdrops like this over at @starkersingapore !
I found this current version of vongole to be less spicy than its cousin from another outlet, more bland perhaps, teething a little to boring in fact. But on a positive note, pasta was al dente and clams were chewy and fresh!
Decided for a little pampering and added escargots for a starter. The snails🐌 were chewy and it definitely is able to work up your appetite for the following dish. Savory and garlicky, the sauce went extremely well with the crispy garlic bread. It’s one of those breads that are crisp and airy and crumbles with each bite😁
Overall service is prompt and waiting time is relatively short.
Last night we celebrated one year of marriage. Here are a few moments that we captured.
We began the evening at Oceanaire and got to try escargot for the first time (it was pretty good). Our dinner was at Guard and Grace where they really helped make our evening special with a card their staff signed, a champagne toast and so much more. They were truly amazing and I highly recommend their restaurant.
