““Listen carefully: Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground, dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat. But if it is buried, it sprouts and reproduces itself many times over. In the same way, anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life. But if you let it go, reckless in your love, you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.”
John 12:24-25 MSG These boys are my whole world, but I give them to you, God.
@negre.herve #magasin#figé#sprinter#eternity#nageur
GOD sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us.
That's not something we should take lightly, especially when Christ's return is soon (how soon I don't know - only GOD does).
But God didn't send Jesus to die for us and then RISE AGAIN three days later for the fun of it. God did it out of LOVE, a word that everyone knows in the world but doesn't always understand.
God showed His Love for us, through Christ, His perfect Son innocent of sin, pure and blameless by sending Jesus to die to save us from the consequences of sin - eternal death.
Think about it, why would God, an immortal, omnipotent being send His Perfect Son for no good reason - that doesn't make sense. But sending Christ to save us does.
We are all in need of a Saviour, a divine Saviour who shed His blood for us to enable us to restore and reconcile our relationship with God, Our Creator - Jesus Christ.
GOD DOES LOVE US! It's shown through Christ, Christ came to show us who God is, what Love is, and most important save us.
I really don't want whoever is reading this to take this lightly - God cares for you, loves you, sent His Son to die for you because He loves you, He doesn't want you to go to Hell (if God did maybe we may not be here today), Jesus cares for you - God made flesh died to take our place and rose again to show His power and His Might and that He is victorious, above all and that He is all we truly need to fill the gap in our hearts. He, Jesus, His love is only one that can fill us well and truly.
Death is hard, especially when you know when it's coming, especially when you are dying for those who you know but don't know you, some of them hate you, spit at you, curse you, betrayed you and yet Jesus died for each one of us. To save us from our sins, from condemnation, from Hell. To make us new in God through Him, for the relationship and love that we as humans should have for God to be restored. To become who God created us to be, in His image.
Please, repent and turn to Christ. If you do, know that your life will not be easier but better. Why? Becauee the God of all Creation, Your Saviour Jesus Christ will be with you through the storms. Turn to him. Love Him above all. And Follow Him.
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
