27th of September * | 7SEAS | Free Underwater Clean Up Dive
7SEAS Dive Gili offers a free weekly clean-up dive to all certified divers. What many people don’t realize is that there is so much more to an underwater clean up dive than just collecting ocean waste. After the dive, the staff of 7SEAS weighs all of the garbage collected, and then sorts it into 100 different categories (plastics, wood, glass, etc.). The data is submitted online to the Project AWARE Foundation and used to initiate change through local governments or NGOs. * To join the free underwater clean up dive you need to be a certified diver and sign up 1 day before at the office of 7SEAS.
