We’re done for the first day. Temples were quite crowded cuz it’s season time for devotees. Finished visiting the last temple at 4 pm and then had to rush through the mountains to cross the border of another state. But there were wild elephants roaming across the roads after 6 pm so the police didn’t allow us to go past a certain point. So yeah had to halt in a town among the mountains and ayyyy not bad. The hotels are very very cheap and damn nice. Tomorrow will be boarding the boathouse. Gonna be so much fun. Yeboiiii! #travel#experiences#waterfalls#hindutemples#kerala#tamilnadu#homecountry#mountaintrip
Thanksgiving Wish...... 🌾🍁🌾 I wish to send you my deepest gratitude for allowing me to connect with you on Thanksgiving. Gratitude is something that should be expressed everyday not just on one assigned day. 🌾🍁🌾 When you fill your heart with gratitude... you will always have more than enough of everything that you desire. 💕
Today on this Thanksgiving Day please find a way to create your own tradition which spreads joy and allows you to give thanks for all the blessings that you may have overlooked in your life. 🌈 Every day is a blessing and we should give thanks for what we have. 🙏🙏🏼🙏🏾 We have gotten off track with the true meaning of Thanksgiving which is to spend quality time with our people whether it is a biological family, or extended family or the people who you consider to be your family. 🏡
Whomever you call “family” make sure you express your gratitude for them every day but especially today. 💕💜💕It’s not about eating food...unless you are giving thanks for all the food that you receive every day. 🥗. Create quality experiences today and enjoy your day. 🤗 Have meaningful conversations.. Holidays can be a very stressful time for everyone... so create your space and give thanks for waking up today. Then spread your gratitude thru out the day to all and I pray that it is indeed contagious 🙏🏾🦋🙏🏾 Sending you all oceans of reiki and much love 💕😘🙋🏽♀️ namaste #thanksgiving#gratitude#family#grateful#thanks#qualitytime#experiences#happythanksgiving#wellness#healing#qualityexperience#spreadgratitude#grace#thoughtoftheday#picoftheday#blessings#namaste#joy
Tip #11 : Hold on to the happy moments.
I miss my trip to the US. It was due since the time my sister shifted to Houston almost 8 years ago.
So when it was decide that my big bro will get married in Houston, it was now or never. I could not miss his wedding.
So right after the wedding, we got stuck in Hurricane Harvey *shudder* It was quite terrible, but my family and I were thankfully safe and no drastic damages.
Then my husband and I went to LA, San Francisco, New York and Boston. It was a-mazing. Despite getting exhausted from all the travelling around with a heavy bag, I loved every minute of it.
When I'm drowning in work, I think about the good times I've had in this country. The people I've met, the food I've eaten and the weather I've been through has made quite an impression.
Would love to hear your happy moments :) #worksbymarvi#ThrowbackThursday#USA2017#LA#SanFrancisco#NewYork#Boston#experiences#traveldiaries#vacation

Making new friends in Tokyo!
On one of our first evenings we went out to eat Okonomiyaki, a traditional Japanese dish mainly associated with the Kansai or Hiroshima areas of Japan but widely available throughout the country. It is a savory pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "how you like" or "what you like", and yaki meaning „grill". Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region and to your personal taste. We got a bowl of raw ingredients that we ourselves had to mix and grill at a table fitted with teppan, an iron griddle. We shared our table with Shinichi, a professor at the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of the University of Tokyo and his lovely wife Mari. They showed us how to make fantastic Okonomiyaki and we had a great conversation throughout the evening. Some people hate sitting together with strangers at a table but I love having the chance to meet new people and make new friends!

So thankful for all the amazing people and love in my life ❤️
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope it’s a day filled with nothing but laughter, full tummies, and meaningful conversations.
The last two years of my life have really evolutional and I’ve really been growing and finding out more who I am. I’m really grateful to have the opportunities of studying abroad in 3 countries and be supported by a loving family.
I have so much in my life to be thankful for from my family, boyfriend, friends, internship, university degree, and even my access to food and a safe place to live.
I think it’s really important on this day to remind your loved ones why you are thankful for them, because not enough times we tell them.
To all the people in my life: THANK YOU ❤️
Happy thanksgiving again :)
Marrakech is magical. I have fallen numerous times under its spell. Have you ever visited the 'Red City"?
I am delighted to have found an elegant and seducing #Riad in the #Marrakech Medina. With 6 luxurious Suites spread across a main property and a guest house, a terrace with pool, traditional hammam, treatments room and fine dining, this is the perfect location to visit the city on foot, through its bustling Souks, ancient mosques and internationally acclaimed restaurants.

This picture sums it up. I am grateful for the path that I’m on and the growth that has taken place in addition to the support that I’ve had whether it’s near or far. It’s truly been a blessing to experience the highs and lows because I stand today as a stronger, wiser, and more appreciative woman. The best is yet to come...
