Today’s office view is brought to you from our 4th National Park that happens to be the longest cave system in the world! 🔦🌎 We just finished the “Domes and Dripstone” tour that took us down 280 stairs, 150 feet below the surface, and it was Amaaaazing!! We learnt so much about how water has formed this cave over the past 350 million years. It was pretty dark in some places, but here’s one of my favorite pictures I was able to take showing Crystal Lake at the bottom!
Next, we’re doing the Gothic Avenue Tour, where I’m hopping to see some bats! 🦇🦇🦇
I am learning to embrace every season. The quiet that a fresh blanket of snow brings is one of my favorite things about winter. When the trees turn white and the forest rests for the season. There is beauty in slowing down. I think we often think slowing down means to halt completely, to put our lives on hold, but I think it means something quite different. Maybe it's to take time to focus on what is really important and to let the rest go. Even in winter, the birds are fed. God provides in all seasons. Trust in the letting go and slowing down that there will be even more room for God to work.
