The start to one of the best days I’ve had in a while.
This past Sunday @zachschneider1 and I went on a ride that I had never done before. The ride started out in the snow with temperatures around 16 degrees and as we rode up through the inversion we popped out above clouds riding some nice flowy trails in the sun.
Go with the flow

In Oregon we sure are lucky to have everything within a short drive. ~Photo taken by @markbondar3

Watching the clouds roll in & out of the trees.
It almost looks like a tropical island paradise, until you realize it's below freezing and everything is covered in frost. Put your flip flops away, at least for the next few months.
Always a good time adventuring with this guy! Got to see some new hidden gems that I have always driven past but never seen yesterday!
Also if you are in the market for a great adventure/camera bag I would highly suggest giving @fstopgear a look! They are designed for the extremist!
I’m on the lookout for my next adventure and you guys should be on the lookout for my next video that I’ll be posting later this evening! ‼️spoiler alert ‼️ it’s a new pewer 😎

Oh the adventures one will take to break in their new snow shoes.... Yesterday we managed to get the Jeep stuck along the National Forest Road headed to Top Spur. 4 hours of digging and building branch-blankets for traction, many moments panic (for me) and we managed to get her out. In the middle of all this, we hiked to the top of the mountain to get cell service to ask friends to come rescue us because two hours in it wasn’t looking good. Our friends graciously threw on their boots and hopped in their rig immediately to drive out 1 1/2 hours to save the day... but they never showed up. Luckily Dana managed to get us out with a couple more hours of work. Panicked and out of touch with our friends, we headed to the first restaurant we could once we were out of the snow and with cell service again to station up until we knew they were safe. Turns out they took a wrong turn and headed all the way up Lolo Pass and wound up on their own side adventure. Fortunately they were safe and had a blast. Oof! What an adventure! Next weekend I’m sticking with somewhere simple, like a lake 🤣. Today, we are buying chains, a travel saw and a few other snowy road safety/emergency things.
The lovely, cozy, two level cabin with a fireplace and hot tub is where i spent my birthday! 😍 loved it. Situated along the Sandy River, that thing was raging! Always love hearing rivers nearby. Thank you @vacasarentals @mthoodterritory & my BF 🙏
