Definitely a new favourite! Violet is now wearing size 5 and needed some new dresses quick! This beautiful fabric I had been saving for her and with only 1m the @tadahpatterns Seaside Dress was the perfect choice. I also made a second unicorn dress simultaneously but I need to head to Spotlight to buy some fabric for the ruffle first.
Working on keeping my Etsy shop stocked today! A perfect rainy day activity is cutting the fabric to size. I love how the variations in pattern keep the design fresh and forever evolving! Or maybe that’s the strange orange glow... bad lighting and the streetlight outside crept in!
Got out every fabric I own that I might want to use in my line. Haven’t made many decisions on what will be used for what yet. I don’t have anything in the neon coral that I want yet. Most of the white will probably be dyed at some point. #thisishappening#slightlyterrified#fabricstash
This was my cut pile vs my to cut pile when this week started on Sunday 😕
Luckily despite it being a hectic week and the laser being a bit uncooperative the to cut pile is now the tiny one 👍
Now to sort my pieces and start making those new critters for @jackalopeartfair 😁
This is where I started my fabric stash maybe ten years ago. Michael Miller Farmers Market Apple in Red (I also have yellow and green) and this is my most precious fabric. My kids know it too since they have got only little pieces of these to things I sew for them. This is my last bigger piece and I am cutting it to my daughters quilt... #fabric#fabricstash#hereistarted#michaelmiller#michaelmillerfabrics
After I followed Bonnie Christines classes @skillshare, this was the first design I’ve made with my new skills, and the result got me by surprise! @goinghometoroost @spoonflower @spoonflowerde @roosteryhome
I also got my first ever order from #moodfabrics thanks to a gift certificate I won last year from @bygumbygolly - Thanks, Tasha! I finally used it, lol. I snagged my first ever #Africanwaxcotton and some of the bird print cotton twill that @idlefancy used for a short dress (which I loved, obviously), and of course a tape measure. They even threw in a free tote bag and some swatches :) Yay for fun stuff in the mail! #fabricshopping#fabricstash
