Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Ephesians 6:10-18 NIV
Repost from @pewpewpreacher @TopRankRepost #TopRankRepost#tacticaltuesday - Tactics in the Bible: after God used Moses to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, the Israelites were later attacked by the Amalekites (Exodus 17:8-16). The Israelites were winning the battle as long as Moses raised the staff that God gave him with his hands in the air. But the Israelites would be losing the battle every time his hands lowered. Of course Moses would get tired of holding his hands and the staff up. So he sat on a rock and his buddies helped hold his hands up until the Israelites defeated the Amalekites. This demonstrates just how powerful God is and how much we need Him. We win when we are completely dependent on God. We lose when we depend on our own strength.
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

Make a stand and stand boldly. Stand for Faith. Stand for Family. Stand for Freedom!
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: Only love can do that." - Martin Luther King Jr #dangerousbutgood // #faithfamilyfreedom
I was scared.
I was afraid of failure.
I was worried I wouldn't be good enough.
But you know what... I took that step anyway!
Because I was desperate to change my life and because what I wanted was bigger than any fear.
I wanted freedom...
💫 Spiritual freedom to spend more moments with God.
💫 Emotional freedom so I could enjoy my life more. 💫 Time freedom to spend with my family.
💫 Social freedom to be able to help others and do things with my friends. 💫 Financial freedom so I could bless others and stop living paycheck to paycheck.
I wanted to change my life bad enough that I took that step so I could challenge myself to see what I really could be capable of.
