Sam Wilson is coming back to his old insignia as the Secret Empire falls. As the people of the world –ultimately USA- no longer trusts Captain America, Wilson gave up the shield and chose to fly again as The Falcon to watch over his hometown Chicago.
The interesting take on gang culture and racial issues are somehow amazing. As in when he was Captain America, Wilson retained his patronizing tone and yet could still loosen up a bit when talking to his new protege Rayshaun Lucas “The Patriot”. We are yet to see a mentor and student chemistry here, but the start from these two is kind of interesting. Although i don’t like how the identity of American hero here is too much, including Patriot’s highly advanced shield. It feels like the image of a powerful American identity hero are being thrown away.
Its not bad, but its not that much good either. This issue makes the entire Secret Empire opera looks a bit better. The cause of how they destroyed the image of one of the most iconic American superhero, and the idea of patriotism that he encourages, gave an impact to the society. Wilson are still holding grudges against Steve Rogers and the superhero identity he once wear, while maintaining relationship with his people and protecting them.
The art, depicting the dark side of Chigago which ridden with gang and violence are drawn very well. While at certain point the dark tone is strengthening the story, Falcon as a hero should be depicted with a brighter tone on some parts. The details drawn by Cassara’s dark-styled art into the pages of this issue are astounding.
Birding in NZ, this with a New Zealand Falcon. Absolutely loved the experience we got from Wingspan and highly recommend a visit for anyone that loves birds of prey.

STORY: The Mysterious paw came from an old friends of Frank. He had see Frank screeching and diving for the forest floor. He creeped up to the scene and found Roman getting ready to pounce. The only thing he could do in time was to swipe. He gave it all he had.
Roman saw the Lynx and as soon as the Lynx lifted up. Roman got Anna and ran. This was not a battle he wanted to fight.
Now, the fat King of the Forest Mice courageously thanked Frank and the Lynx. The lonely lynx was happy to have so many new friends.
