WING CANYON VINEYARDS
**I know many people have been affected by the fires; these people and their winery are near and dear to me. This is a tiny operation - only the 2 of them.** Overall, the rarity of the air and environment of Mt. Veeder is special and magical and more specifically the oasis that is Wing Canyon Vineyards. Kathy and Bill Jenkins - the owners - have been the best of friends for over 2 decades, along with their wild and fierce menagerie of kooky dogs and cats (Crazy Norman you are sorely missed!)
Their wines engender that which is the true heart and soul of California wine - passioniate dedication and an innate ability to coax the very best out of their land and grapes. They are a very small family operation (500 cases; 2 persons): hand-harvesting from a steep hillside of incredible beauty, visceral and incredible winemaking prowess that enhances the ultimate of elixirs from the grapes through to the painstaking manual bottling, hand-labeling and capsuling and packing. I spent many a night sharing my guest room with towering stacks of their delicious wines!!! The status of their house, winery and property is still a big question mark; please help bring back the magic. Any donation is appreciated. #napastrong#napaproud#mountveeder#wingcanyonvineyards#familywinery#gofundme
Wine of the Week: Arbosto Rosso from Campania, Italy
If Arbosto Rosso was a person, she’d be a hot Italian model spending her free time on yachts off the Amalfi Coast. Made with classic varietals like Aglianico and Montepulciano you’ll be lured in by the exotic spice that’s intermingled with fragrances of blackberries and earth.
Suggested retail price: $18.00
Last month at @newkentwinery we processed over 80,000 pounds of grapes! Since we are a family winery, all of the Dombroski's are very hands-on in all of the harvesting and production processes. Swipe left to see VP of Winery Operations, Jake Dombroski, with daughter Berkley operating the forklift to dump the grapes into our grape press.

Our beautiful Black Lab Hugo - the best helper on board when we established Mandala's Dixons Creek site 10 years ago! ⭐️
A lone ranger, Hugo took every opportunity to express himself as the unique character he was, like his namesake wine ‘The Black Lab’ Pinot Noir. Thinking of him this Spring as we celebrate our 10th anniversary – never forgotten 💙
