okay. major error in judgement on my part: reading rupi kaur's milk and honey while listening to mayday parade's albums (a lesson in romantics & anywhere but here) — coz it ended up in me being an emotional wreck at some point DIDN'T RLY REALIZE THAT SOME OF THE SONGS AND PIECES WOULD FIT/GO TOGETHER IDEK ANYMORE I'M CRYING 🌪
and oh btw, Oscars this yr was a mess but still so so happy for the deserving winners BLESS THEM ALL ✨
Have any of you ever been to Mardi Gras before? I haven't, but I can only imagine the insanity of it all just by things my husband has described when he's been down there for work trips. Packed streets and buildings, drunkenness everywhere, flesh, and laughing and screaming. Sounds awful. Haha. I've heard walking through the crowds is like swimming in the ocean, the way bodies push and move you.
Despite all that, I love the colors of Mardi Gras, the masks, the beads... which is why I incorporated some of those details into my pictures this week!

[ teenage queen pt.10 ]Valentine had always been a huge fangirl.
It was destiny, that out of everyone her biggest idol Ed Sheeran had discovered the young girl.
And of course she did know about One Direction and 5sos too.
And yes, she might have ran a fan account about them.
It wasn't surprising that she thought it was a dream when Ed had invited her to stay in London for a week to record some stuff with her.
It becam even more surreal when all over sudden Niall Horan visited them and also joined their little recording session.
But the highlight was - Valentine was convinced it was a coma dream - when on her last day Ashton visited Niall and Niall decided to bring him to the studio.
They spent the whole day writing, jamming and laughing and even had dinner at Nando's together.
It was funny, that Ashton and Valentine were staying in the same hotel, so Val had spent the whole night talking to one of the most inspirational people she knew about.
They had talked about literally anything and since that night, when they were together, they were inseparable.
Although they had an age difference of 7 years, they had become best friends. They didn't care.
Both had friends way older, but also way younger. They said, it would wide their horizons.
When Val finally moved to California, they spent almost every day together; just watching silly TV shows or hanging out with other people.
Valentine was a person, that needed people she could trust.
And in Los Angeles she found a whole bunch of them, and although all of them were older, they treated her like one of them.
She didn't behave like a 16 year old at all.
