I couldn't help but snap this really quickly as I was walking back from checking on the pigs, chickens, and chickie-babies. I love walking this path, and around the barns and coops and seeing things that original owner used for his animals around this farm! I wonder if he’d roll his eyes or kick out of us learning how to do all these things that were undoubtedly second nature to him.
As this horrible quality photo shows, all fruit is washed with an acid based cleaner before pressing. In all the fruit is inspected 3 times by me; once at picking, once when I wash them, and one last time before I grind them.
A big shout out to Mike Dickson the @the_fit_farmer_ ! He runs @bigpondfarm with his wonderful wife Lacie. Mike filmed nearly non-stop this past week for 5 days straight. And was a wonderful person to have apart of our team this week. Follow him and his farm as he really starts to ramps up his farm production with his family.
Old MacDonald had a farm … but it was uh, … nowhere near as cool as this one!
Your little one will be driving the tractor, feeding the animals and making up so many different stories.
They may even hum a tune or two ... “with an oink, oink here ...”.
Holy cow!! The rain has hit the Pacific Northwest. Our creek fills up like a tiny flash flood. It is dry all summer and then one day each fall, the water crawls in and fills the creek bed. Once we caught that moment on video. So cool! Anyway, we have a detached shop down our driveway and I have to make several trips out there tonight, putting things away- in the rain. Instead, I am procrastinating here on IG. 😜🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧
