I love wood furniture and the beauty of stained wood. Nevertheless, we found in the farmhouse some painted chairs and I think they're just adorable! I intend to paint them all the bold red accent color I already have in the farmhouse. (It's so much fun!) There is something so sweet about these mismatched chairs! #farmhouse#fixerupper#farmhousedecor#red#chairs#vintage#farmhousestyle

What a great reason to do a #tbt This came up on my time hop today. This was me 3 years ago at my local village show. Here I am advertising my first business 'Not So Shabby' Not So Shabby was created in 2012 shortly after my mum passed away. My mum was the biggest part of my life and was hugely into crafts herself. Leaving all her craft supplies behind made me want to put them to good use. I loved 'Not So Shabby' as everything I made was so unique and personal for every order. In the past year or so I've slowly closed this business as I am currently studying to be a Pharmacy Technician so regrettably have not had the time. This has bought me onto my next venture... The Rustic Living Co. whilst doing something I love and making the odd bits here and there still gives me enough time to do my studying as well. Thanks for all the support so far - I have so much more to show you and I can't wait 💞✨ #tbt#goals#home#homedecor#interior#interiordesign#interior123#love#hygge#like#follow#instahome#instagood#photooftheday#rustic#quote#farmhouse#farmhousestyle#quote#inspire#passion#tb#me#girl#handmade#flowers#memories

These Reclaimed Elm heart boards are just divine. Now Available in large and small.
They make a very special gift, or a treat for yourself. Beautiful gift that is from the heart (pun intended 😜)
Hurry in, as these cuties sell fast. Available online or in store. Open tomorrow 10am til 4pm.
Drip plate, black clay, tin white glaze. ✨
When I'm glazing lots of plates and getting a bit bored of the repetition, I'll mix it up with a drippy one every now and then.. ✨🤗✨ It feels good to loosen up and do something deliberately a bit messy and free in amongst the discipline and fiddle of aiming for even coverage ✌️️

Hiya! 👋🏻 Well I had the "pleasure" of coming online earlier to find myself locked out of my IG page. I don't know what the problem was but when I was able to get on it, all of my pictures were gone. 😩 Thankfully they are all saved on my computer but annoying nonetheless. So here I am starting afresh. .
If you are new to my page, welcome and thank you for the follow! I am Debra. I currently work in the bakery after having not worked in a good 15+ years. I started at my job in March (in another area of the shop) just a week or so before we exchanged keys on our new-to-us-home. I am married for 19 years to my husband called DeWayne. He is active duty Navy. We have two children. Brendan is 18 and in college. Ashlynn is 15 and in 10th grade. We also have our furbaby Cullen. He is a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu. We just purchased our home here in a small country town in Southern California at the end of March after having lived in our camper for 9 months. .
Purchasing this home has been both a blessing and a curse. I am enjoying decorating it and shopping through all of our household items that were in storage for 10 months. This is our 3rd home but first that we didn't buy new. It's been challenging at times as my personality calls for me to get our home unpacked and settled as quickly as possible. Having to learn to slow down and realize that everything will not be perfect or to my standards quickly has been quite difficult for me. Unfortunately finances and time do not afford me the opportunity to do it all now. And so we are doing a little at a time. The blessing of the house is that the open living area, dining and kitchen have all been renovated already. However it has a bit modern/coastal feel to it. Trying to balance that with our farmhouse rustic vibe is a bit trying but we are making it work to the best of our abilities. The master bedroom and ensuite need a complete gutting but are functional for now. The front of the house lacks charm and personality. And the backyard/garden could use an overhaul. I am sure I will have lots of questions as we continue to renovate and redecorate our little house here in So Cal. I would appreciate all design tips!
