Baby mint plants in our new nursery 😍 We’ve got to keep up with the increased demand for plants created by the new aquaponics system! Growing our own plants from seed and from cutting means we know they’re organic seeds and we know the plants are well suited to the environment 🌱💪🏼#yerbabuena#nursery#growthings
Come by starting in early February to get a tour from the #ChineseCowboy himself! His knowledge spans from native Hawaiian plants and coffee production to much much more! Tours available for booking NOW @shimfarmtour.com or Direct Message.
Organic farm tour at Tree Casa, in the rural higher lands off the southern pacific coast of Nicaragua. Here we learn about their sustainable and environmental farming. Producing their fruits, vegetables and herbs we enjoyed the experience of the tasting and aroma of lemongrass, mint, tomatoes, the red seed “achiote” that is used so much in Latin American dishes, and sugar cane tasting and sugar extraction. An absolute wonderful farm tour and food experience! Thank you Chef Guillermo and Agronomist Don Carlos for your most gracious hospitality!!

We like to think we offer a high-quality farm tour which gives you the opportunity to take in an interesting mix of the agricultural enterprises undertaken here at "Westpoint", along with an insight into our philosophy, approaches and attitudes to farming, the environment and our rural community. It is our hope to provide a gateway for curious consumers to learn more about the source of their food and fibre production by sharing our family's farming story.
Thank you Alana and Jake from #tastebeforewaste for supplying amazing "seconds" bananas direct to our door. $10 for a 13kg box... including delivery within the greater Cairns region is a fantastic offer.
Contact www.facebook.com/tasteb4waste/ if you want to save these amazing but not "perfect enough for the shops" bananas from being dumped...
