I have thrown away 70% of my daily supplements. It's an unregulated industry and even if it were regulated, it would be fueled by money...see the American Heart Association👊. Try to find "third party tested" supplements when available. Avoid supplement "fillers" such as: hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, magnesium stearate and titanium dioxide.

It is commendable to keep six fasts in the month of Shawwal. We should take this opportunity of acquiring such an enormous reward from Allah.
It is preferable to start these fasts from the 2nd of Shawwal and keep fasting up to the 7th of it. However, if they are kept in other days, the requirement also be fulfilled. The sooner we do them, the better ...
"Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days from Shawwal will be rewarded as if they fasted the entire year.” (Muslim)
----------------------------------------------------It is a sign of the acceptance of one’s Ramadan fasts. This is because a sign of Allah’s accepting a good deed is to be granted the success to perform similar good deeds, with consistency. #Shawwal#eid#blessings#fasting#reminder#reflection#motivation#inspiration
Fasting six days of Shawwaal after the obligatory fast of Ramadaan is Sunnah Mustahabbah, not waajib. It is recommended for the Muslim to fast six days of Shawwaal, and in this there is great virtue and an immense reward. Whoever fasts these six days will have recorded for him a reward as if he had fasted a whole year, as was reported in a #saheeh#hadeeth from the #Prophet (peace and blessings of #Allaah be upon him). Abu Ayyoob (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts #Ramadhan and follows it with six days of Shawwaal, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” (Narrated by #Muslim , Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah). The Prophet #Muhammad#ﷺ explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten hasanah like it).” According to another report: “ #Allah has made for each hasanah ten like it, so a month is like fasting ten months, and #fasting six days completes the year.” (al-Nisaa’i and Ibn Maajah. See also Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1/421). It was also narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah with the wording: “Fasting for the month of Ramadaan brings the reward of ten like it, and fasting for six days brings the reward of two months, and that is the fasting of the whole year.” The Hanbali and Shaafa’i fuqaha’ explained that fasting six days of Shawwaal after fasting Ramadaan makes it as if one has fasted for an entire year of obligatory fasts, because the multiplication of the reward applies even to naafil fasts, because each hasanah brings the reward of ten like it.
Another of the important benefits of fasting six days of #Shawwaal is that is makes up for any shortfall in a person's obligatory #Ramadaan fasts, because no one is free of shortcomings or sins that have a negative effect on his fasting. On the Day of Resurrection, some of his naafil deeds will be taken to make up the shortcomings in his obligatory deeds.
Reward of the whole year.

The sucker still folds when I fold 🙈 but my leggings need a belt to stay up again... wooohoooo
Intermittent fasting(1 week in) while strengthening my mental focus and maintaining that mind to muscle connection has delivered a steady 4 lb lost for the past 3 days.
Lawd knows, I wanted my "juice" back but it came with fat and water. Have been a steady 180lbs this year. Figured out that 170 to 175 is my ideal number on the scale in order for me to feel agile, neat, and my version of my sexy.
My body is no simple snap back... not everything works for everyone... so you sample, adjust, and figure out what is for YOU.
Remember I do this for longevity not competition, so my motivation has no deadline.
I've been drawn to all things 'cleansing' lately, which has lead me down some interesting rabbit holes the last week and has lead to some positively WILD (and kind of freaky) dreams.
A few nights ago, while undertaking an experimental 24 hour "dry fast" (no food or water for 24 hours to see how my body would respond -- it loved it, by the way 💗) I had the most vivid dream that a rather psychedelic blue, green, yellow and black frog came out of me. It quickly morphed from "normal" frog size to the size of my entire torso and then danced around me. Up until that point, I could have sworn the dream was real.
Then the next day I discovered a frog hanging out in my kitchen (it's an open-air Balinese kitchen)... Next day, still there. Tonight, back again.
I've been reading all about frog as an animal totem (all about cleansing and rebirth, which very much mirrors what is happening both in my inner and outer world), and suddenly I can't stop thinking about 🐸frog medicine.
I've never felt the pull before now (it actually repelled me up until... it suddenly didn't). No the draw feels quite strong.
Have any of you worked with #kambo ? Care to share your experience with me? I'd really love be to hear some personal experiences from friends (or random Insta folks who feel called to share). Feel free to PM me.
Any sacred practitioners in #Ubud ?
P.S. this is sort of what the frog in my dreams looked like... not the kitchen frog and certainly not frog medicine. I think it's a poison dart frog. 🔥

Sneaky almond milk macchiato 🙈 I should've stuck to a black coffee before breaking my fast in 4 hours buuuut I was feening for something a little more fancy since I only got 4 hours of sleep last night 😴. On a brighter note, this coffee is kicking in and I'm ready to have a super productive day!! 🌞🌎🌊
Planned to write an epistle but words fail me.. Anyway, for some of us we've got a couple of days to #payback after Ramadan which can actually be quite difficult seeing that the rest of the world has moved on nd there's no more iftar OR calls at Sahur OR Taraweeh .. I try to to see it a little differently though...kinda think of it as some sorta extension that helps u maintain some of the good habits u picked up in the past month and of course there's also the 6day fast in Shawwal...I'm pretty experienced in the art of not paying back ND then trying to do a crash course into the next Ramadan! So last year, we haff turned a new leaf oh.. Cos hell is real.. Lol.. Anyway, it won't hurt to try #payingback a little early this time around.. P:S It's still an epistle #payback#lifeafterramadan#fasting
