My lunch today looks amazing! These are my blue bacon burgers ๐Ÿ”made with a 3oz beef patty ๐Ÿฎ, 1TBSP crumbled blue cheese ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ’™, 1 slice of thick cut bacon ๐Ÿฅ“, topped with hot sauce and some jalapeรฑos ๐ŸŒถ. For a side, I have a 1/2c raw broccoli with some ranch to cool things off.

I haven't lost that much weight after keto but I don't have to struggle with feeling so bloated anymore! I can finally wear skinny jeans to class without feeling uncomfortable the whole time and that's huge for me. I'm just happy to finally find a diet lifestyle that makes me feel good and I wish that for everyone. I still have ways to go but so far it's working. Yay for keto!!! .

My blood sugar was 85 this morning and that's great but my ketones are non existent at .3 mmol/l๐Ÿ˜ฃ. I've been lowering my carbs again to under 25 grams and I can feel it coming back. I haven't had filet mignon in forever.  Left an 8oz piece bloody and rare tonight and topped it with a garlic butter spread that I made!  I'm glad I made extra because it was delicious and is going to top my vegetables for awhile.  I finished up my month of no dairy, now it's time to add it back in and see the results.  I didn't have many effects from removing it so I'll add it back in slowly and continue to test.  First up;  Butter of course! I've been wanting to try zoodles but I'm not a fan of watery food.
 I recently read a tip on how to fix this problem when it comes to making zoodles.

TIP: in a large bowl, salt the zucchini to extract the excess water.  After 15 minutes, drain the zucchini noodles and dry them with a paper towel.  Set aside on a dry paper towel to continue drying before cooking.  Cook until al dente, 1-2 minutes.

After doing some grounding walking the other day I decided to throw in some hill sprints.  Well, after 38 years of wearing sneakers our feet aren't trained any longer to be barefoot, let alone running barefoot.  This puts extra stress on your cuneiform and sesamoid bones.  I guess I'll be learning how to heal this part of the foot this weekend.  I think it's just a strain of the tendons more than any breaks or dislocations.
