Yesterday I wanted to push the mental side of my fast so around the 45 hour mark I decided to cook.  I made meatballs, liver and onions, liver and beef meatballs, kielbasa and sauteed kale. I wanted to get them cooked before having to freeze the meats.  Sometimes throwing an extended fast into your schedule can really throw off your plans and what you've got waiting in your fridge. It's truly spectacular what you can achieve when you set your mind to something and you start taking action! ❤️ :::long post alert::: Many of you probably look at me and think: "well OF COURSE you had that kind of transformation. You're a coach/fitness buff/dietitian/insert other label here".. but I just want to let you know that I've battled a lot in my life.. mental demons that have taken me down dark paths. So you see me now.. fit, happy, building my dream life.. but I WORKED to get to this place! 
From feeling ugly with a serious case of self hate as a teen. To severe depression after I graduated high school. To disordered eating where I starved myself and then binged and purged and then just binged. At 19 years old I was 185 lbs. 
Then something snapped. I had enough feeling like shit all the time. Hating yourself is EXHAUSTING and I was DONE. At this time I found fitness which legit changed my life (along with the help of my low dose meds). It still hasn't been rainbows and butterflies up til now though, I've had to overcome other things (which is a whole other post!! 😬) but I had to share that I didn't spend my life as a fit person. Or a healthy person. 
I've had to FIGHT to get here and it's a battle I'd do over because being and feeling my best is WORTH IT! 👊🏽 All this to say.. it has NOT been an easy transformation for me. But also to encourage YOU to change your mindset and you'll change your life!! It starts with you wanting to change things and then taking action! You're not stuck in the place you're at!

Week 2 of my Holiday Shred Challenge is in da books!! 👏🏽🙌🏽💪🏽 Couple of things I’ve realized: 👉🏽 Working on your goals during the holiday season isn’t hard. You just have to remember your commitment! The amount of cookies, cakes, chocolates and other yummy but not-on-plan foods in my office at work have seriously been ridiculous! But I made the commitment to you and my challengers to stay on point! 👊🏽 Also, I like to save my carbs for prosecco and wine 😜 👉🏽 I feel REALLY good on my anti-inflammatory plan. My meals are satisfying, I stay full for hours, I don’t feel hangry.. like ever! And bloating is way down 🙌🏽 #nonscalevictory 👉🏽 My body seems to love and respond better to agility moves and workouts that use multiple muscles at the same time. The changes I’m seeing in just 2 weeks is pretty amazing! 
Moral of the story.. I’m proof that you can find a workout program and nutrition plan that works for YOU! And if you want to do what I do, you can! Reach out girl, I’m here to help you! 😘

Did you go out tonight or stay in?? We stayed in and made this deliciousness!! Egg roll in a bowl🍜

1 pound ground turkey
1 head cabbage, thinly sliced
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup Bragg liquid aminos
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons chicken broth 
2 stalks green onion
Salt & pepper to taste * Brown ground turkey in a large wok
* Add sesame oil & onion to the browned turkey.  Mix and continue to cook over medium heat.
* Mix Bragg liquid aminos, ginger & garlic into a small bowl. Once onion is browned add sauce mixture to the pan.
* Immediately add the cabbage mixture to the pan and toss to coat the vegetable.  Add the chicken broth to the pan & mix.  Continue cooking over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
* Garnish with salt, pepper & green onion.

1/3 Cup honey or maple
1 cup oats
2/3 Cup dedicated coconut
1/2 Cup flaxseed meal
Dark chocolate I make my own or if available I'll buy dairyfree choc chips

The method:
Mix nut butter and honey/maple.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well
Put in fridge until the mixture is Solid
Roll into 1 inch balls - I use a desert spoon 🥄 
If you can wait for them to set a little bit, put them in fridge.....
Recommend to keep in fridge.

Made it 1 week before I broke down and added some vegetables back into the diet.  I like carnivore but I like vegetables too.  I will continue to limit them and prepare for the New Years challenge of 20g Total Carbs or less per day.  12 Week Cut and 6 Week Reverse Diet.

pushing into week 4 since i restarted keto and going strong.. down 12lbs, feeling good, killing my fasts. 📷: breakfast (which due to work and errands was at 4pm today..) was sliced turkey and cheddar, topped with egg, on a skillet toasted #josephslavashbread pita.. 👉 late night din/snack was "pepperoni chips" topped with a sprinkle of mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, dipped into a side of homemade sauce. 👌 *side note: probably one of my biggest issues is not getting in enough calories daily, (or enough water) this was all i had today.. but when im busy i dont think about food and when i have time to think about food... i think about sleep instead 😴

That picture was taken at Eva's first trip to a beach, our first family vacay. I was hot, sweaty, tired, and just plain miserable. I hated the way I felt in my own skin and I was wearing what I considered to be grandma swimsuits. 👵🏼 I obviously LOVE my wiggle worm, but I did not like what pregnancy did to my body. 😣 I was also so worried that I wouldn’t be able to lose that baby weight. 😟 
I'm SO grateful that I already had a library full of workout DVDs that I could do at home. I was not about to leave my baby girl to go to the gym where I would feel ridiculous anyway. 
So I worked out hard, at home during her nap times. The BIG changes came when I started using my portion control containers CONSISTENTLY. THAT was the GAME changer. 🙌🏽 It cleaned up my nutrition game and now I hover between 155-160 lbs (depending on how in point I am with my nutrition 😏) I know what's it like to have a large number of weight to lose. 🙏🏽 I know how impossible it can seem. I know that uncomfortable feeling of being in your own body. 
But I'm sharing this with you because if I can do it, so can YOU! You CAN get to where you want. It’s totally possible! You may just need a little help, a little guidance, a little direction. ❤️ And I'd love to be there by your side on your journey! You just need to make a decision, reach out, and commit. I know you can do it!! I'm here to help, boo 😘

Days 3 and 4 of 21 days Carnivore in the books.  Meals arent as photogenic thats for sure!  Still trying to practice a minimum of 16/8 intermitant fasting but I have definitely been hungrier in the mornings.  I feel best with 18 hour fasts and 6 hour eating windows on keto.  We'll see if that changes as I adapt.  Im trying to limit my pecan, macadamia and walnut intake, thats been the hardest so far.  Sleep has been great too...7 hours straight.  I know im supposed to remove the "keto macros" and caloric restrictions and eat until full but I havent broke through that mindset yet.

Fresh salmon this is my and my sons favorite. Many things have to change I often thought this is expensive then I think about how much is a pizza or a glass of wine? Or even cigarettes if u smoke. This fresh salmon is cheaper than al of this. And it’s very healthy. And it’s ready to eat! There are a little sugar in it. But If u are gonna limit al sugar there are almost nothing left. this was lunch 🙊 creamy spinach dip with celery and a side of cucumbers and ranch. #delicous also hit my 3 week mark as of Friday and i am down 12.4lbs!!! i love keto (even tho i miss some foods.. and beer lol) but overall it allows me to feel normal and not "left out" like some other diets do.. keto is easy and can be easily done when eating out with friends, traveling, etc.

Why eat this way, who cares, why bother, we’re going to pass anyway...my statement was, why bother cause I wanted to start something that would take the weight off fast. Like my uncle use to say, quick fast and in a hurry! But the harsh truth is if your like 50lbs overweight, my truth, it will take changing some habits for good even to get there and sustain it! 
I don’t eat this way because I wish to be skinny, for me that’s not a doable type of lifestyle 😶 ...I eat this way to have strength, power and all the energy needed to sustain that! Besides I have to at my age 🧓🏼 lol

Eating this way, laying off the alcohol abit, oops inside thought and ttly me😋, coupled with body movements, that’s my secret, that’s the golden nugget!

Why eat this way, who cares, why bother, we’re going to pass anyway...my statement was, why bother cause I wanted to start something that would take the weight off fast. Like my uncle use to say, quick fast and in a hurry! But the harsh truth is if your like 50lbs overweight, my truth, it will take changing some habits for good even to get there and sustain it! I don’t eat this way because I wish to be skinny, for me that’s not a doable type of lifestyle 😶 ...I eat this way to have strength, power and all the energy needed to sustain that!
