Day Two: 45 min max endurance. That was fun! EMOM of Row, Hold (rotate between farmers and overhead) and rest for 45 mins! Did I say 45 mins? The guy who always looks at me funny was really looking at me funny today! With a look of “why are you standing there with a plate over your head?” He’s the same one that told me during a rest period “you’re not going to lose weight by just standing there”. So my friends who are new to the gym... know there are jerks there you have to shrug off because there are so many more awesome ones there to flush them out. Confession: I absolutely hate booty workouts. I have never been one to care about growing my behind; it’s actually one of the parts of my body I am okay with. So, I was dreading today’s workout since it is all butt work. But before I started, I decided to trust the process. It’s in the program for a reason, so I stuck with it (even though I still wasn’t the biggest fan). I’m really working on trying new things that put me out of my comfort zone, and this really did it. At least my workout is done and over with!
Happy Tuesday everyone!! Remember it is a marathon not a sprint! On the left was me at my biggest of 230 lbs of all fat. The other picture is yesterday where I am 170 lbs of more muscle. It’s been a long journey to get where I am today and I still have much more I want to do. I’m not to worried about abs, just want to look powerful and feel good.
