Thank you all so much for the lovely messages about @francescalugo ❤️❤️ Francesca is still in hospital but she is ok. She has battled with Crohn’s disease for the last 4 years but hadn’t had a flare up for nearly 2 years so we had hoped we were on the winning side of it. She has been admitted whilst they try and get the inflammation under control and they hope to discharge her next week. Your messages have been so lovely thank you . #love#daughter#family

The skill of sitting well:
🗝Prolonged sitting is never good for the body. Being in any static position too long is not good, but sitting is the position that is the most common in today's society.
🗝When you do have to sit, choose to sit well. Sitting well is a skill, but should be practiced to help reduce the negative effects from piling up.
🗝The key is finding a neutral spine and stacking your torso appropriately. A neutral spine sitting posture is mid way between full posterior pelvic tilt and anterior pelvic tilt. It requires use of your core to keep you in this position (just enough core to maintain position, not full bracing throughout).
🗝It is common to see people either slouch and sit in posterior pelvic tilt, or overcorrect into too anterior pelvic tilt in an attempt to sit up straight.
🗝The problem with overcorrecting is that we now recruit our hip flexors even more, and they tend to get super tight and facilitated (because they have been maintaining our sitting position all day when this isn't their function).
🗝choose to sit less, and choose to sit better. It requires more effort and mindfulness, but will help out in the long run.
Cupping helps to bring better blood flow to areas of soreness and tightness. Think of it as a massage but longer lasting. It helps to release fascia against the muscle, creating wider range of movement and better circulation. #cupping#kungacupuncture#feelbetter
