I believe the Turkish Get Up should make an appearance in every training program in some way.
There’s too much “bang for your buck” to leave it out. It works total body strength, multiple movement patterns, and multiple planes of motion. It’s also one of the best exercises to work your abs.👌
If you’ve never done one before, it’s all good. Find a professional near you and learn from them. I promise you will thank yourself later.

Morning routines - you either do them consciously or not. Either way I believe and have learnt how much what you do in the morning impacts your day. Good or bad. I have read a lot about what makes a good morning routine but what I have come to experience is that for a morning routine to set you up for a happy, positive and energetic day it must feel like “bliss” to you. Time to centre your mind and feed it with good. I used to let my day start with children coming into my room demanding to start their day. That was never good !! Now I wake before them. Get out of the house. Move my body ( I love to walk my dog ) and listen to thought provoking podcasts, audio books, interviews and I just love it. By the time I get home to start the day my family is up and I am invigorated. What is your morning routine ?? What works for you ?? Have you found your bliss ??
