We're eating lots of lettuce at the moment (as I may have ordered three in our veggie delivery), so rather than just having salad with some meat, hubby made hamburger wraps. Homemade rissoles (packed with zucchini, carrot and broccoli) in a lettuce cup, with fresh salsa on top. Plenty of veggies, some protein and lots of flavour. It’s that time of the day where I feel like tucking myself up in bed on this rainy Brisbane afternoon with a good book but there are dishes to be done and dinners to be made!
So I’ve pulled a card from my affirmation deck (which seems extremely fitting, thank you universe 😉), done an amazing peppermint lick and thrown my favourite tunes on & it’s time for this Mumma to power through this afternoon!
Getting it all done now so then when the little minis are in bed it will be time for a cuppa, blanket and good old movie session on the couch!

Carrot quinoa porridge. I used a little banana to sweeten it, and added walnuts, shredded coconut and cacao nibs on top for a little crunch and extra nutrients. 🤢😒🤦♀️I re started my protocol yesterday and I feel H O R R I B L E today. I’ve been completely bed ridden essentially which is lovely. I started taking something called MC- bar-1 for bartonella. I essentially stopped taking it about a month ago because TBH I wanted to live my freaking life for once without being on a roller coaster of sickness... you have to get worse before you get better. Anyways, I’m back on it and it’s really not great. ✨✨✨I’ll be better soon though! Future is bright ✨✨✨
First school lunch for the week for Master 5. Raw veggies, leftover @cleaversorganicmeat honey beef chipolatas, a broccoli flatbread sandwich with tahini, cucumber and tomato, and two of the crunchy cookies I made yesterday. He usually has an apple or small banana for fruit break as well, but today I've given him carrot sticks and green beans for fruit break, and some mandarin to have at lunch. He's mentioned a few times that his lunch takes too long to eat, so moving some of his raw vege to fruit break time might help make lunch time quicker so he has more play time.
