Dreaming of warmer weather and while I may not be heading to Italy soon, I'm still happy I'm heading to LA to see the @museumoficecream in the morning! #tekwanitravels
Things I'm still waiting for: hover boards, flying cars (or underground roadways @elonmusk 😉) teleportation, multidimensional portals, 3D hologram billboards, and... light sabers ⚡️
If you could travel forward or back in time, which year would you visit and why?
This is a photo of the newly designed Courthouse Square & clock tower from the Back to the Future movies, directed by our neighbor on the backlot, Robert Zemeckis (dir. Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away) 🎬
If you ask me, traveling is all about seeing places you’ve never been to before, discovering the unknown and letting yourself be amazed by our beautiful world 💙
Thank you @mylausanne for showing me a new wonderful destination 🙏🏻
Well I wanted snow and I sure got snow in Lausanne ❄️
There’s something so magical about a city covered in snow ❄️ Are you more of a winter/mountains person or a summer/beach fanatic??

First day back on snow! ❄️☃️❄️
I was stoked I remembered how to do the 180s that I learned last year! (Thanks @liketelluwill!) I know these aren’t perfect and seeing this video I can see the backsides are not quite “180s” and could use a lot more practice on all of it. Oh well! I’m pretty happy with coming as far as I’ve come! 🎥: @aalind89
Btw I have a new blog post up “5 must do winter activities in #Bozeman ”
Guess what # 2 is?! Link in bio ☃️
Course 1: Adana Kebab and Mezeler 🙌🌯🍽 Tasting Istanbul with @simply_sultan and @mosabmand ❤️
When in Istanbul, eat like the locals 🙌🌯🍽
La antigua ciudad de Khiva, en Uzbekistán, es una de los lugares mejor conservados de la ruta de la seda. Cuando viajo, casi siempre estoy descalza. Ya se imaginarán cómo terminan mis pies al final del día. 😯👣
While I’m dreaming of this blue brazilian paradise, I’m also sitting here getting ready for the cold weather in London and compiling my Christmas movies list.
What Christmas movies do you recommend? Besides the obvious Home alone movies 😁

@kaveyf's caption------ . Me at Mount Aso, on the Japanese island of Kyushu a few years ago. "Keep out", well yes I definitely will!!! We loved the volcanically active landscapes of this part of Japan, a beautiful region to self-drive. No wonder my dreams so often take me back here...

“allow yourself to transform
as many times as you need
to be fully happy and free”
When I was going through Arches, I was trying to picture the prior states of these rocks, based on their current orientation. Did that used to just be one giant slab that stood tall and then fell over? How did Skyline Arch become Skyline Arch? It’s like a mysterious puzzle, trying to backtrack through time and visualize what these rocks used to be.
Wind and rain carved these beauties into what they are now, but I know they are constantly transforming daily. I keep thinking that the next time I go, it won’t look exactly like this, though it’ll still be familiar. Kind of like seeing an old friend after years of separation—same but slightly different, transformed by time. And that’s something I should embrace, in them and more importantly, in myself.
Nothing warms you up quite like a cup of $1 mulled wine (or 5) from a Christmas market.
This was our housemate in the villa on Barbados 🐢
He came up the stairs for a goodbye photo today!
Leaving the AirBNB to spend a few nights in a hotel at the beach today before we’re heading to our next continent: Back to Europe!
The new World Trade Center station and the new Freedom Tower in New York City.⠀
Over 6 years ago I was fortunate enough to land an internship in this big city. I spent three months of the summer living in an NYU dormitory near Chinatown and either walking for taking the subway to work as a software developer intern in one of the tall buildings in the financial district. I was excited, proud, and for the first time feeling like I was staring as the main character in my own movie. (I’ve had this feeling a few times since.) I walked by this exact area many times that summer, and at that time it was still very much under construction. It’s fascinating how much immensity can be built in a relatively short amount of time. And it’s also fascinating for me to reminisce on that summer and realize how much I’ve changed and how my ideals, goals, and interests have morphed into what I am today. I’m sure several years from now when I look back to 2017 there may be an equal amount of change... but who knows. 🤷🏻♀️
#2017flashbacks Flicking through photos from this year’s travels and found this one of beautiful coloured tiles found in #Lisbon . I loved this Portuguese jewel of a city and would highly recommend for a mini break! Definitely a highlight from this year of exploration 😊 What have been your favourite places of 2017?
